No idea about PKs attitude, but i recall another player getting traded to the Devils that has reported locker room issues and that seems to have worked out just fine.

He's not a locker room cancer, it's just because he's one big character, very jovial and one of a kind guy. Some guys like it, some don't.

Smith Carrick could be a good 3rd pairing. Carricks got 200 NHL games so he should be able to be a veteran for Smith to count on if his job is to focus on D. I feel like he did pretty well while he was here during his time. That means Butcher is on the outside looking in along with Mueller.
