Never want tol see this....would prefer never to be on that list. On a side note...can't remember London not being on this
London always seems to find a way to be competitive every year but I have a hard time seeing where the goals are going to come from. Their goaltending and defense look solid but they had some very big offensive weapons graduate at the end of last season. Going to be fascinating to see who steps up for them this season.

Overall, the division looks to be very competitive this season. I think it's safe to say the teams have improved over last season, at least on paper. Going to have to work for those two points every night.

I see Kitchener as a very dangerous team this season as well. I think Guelph, Kitchener and Owen Sound will battle all season for the division. Owen Sound gets their first look at Kitchener in the home opener. Should be a fun game to watch.

Team played a decent game tonight. Being the first pre-season home game.

It will be interesting to see what kind of production will have with a full lineup back intact, yes N. Bay was missing guys too but if that is small sample size of what we could see then it's going to be an exciting year.

There were details that are likely still a work in progress moving forward, but this is however pre-season and no team is picture perfect this early on in the year. All in all will take the W and the momentum of a 3 game pre-season streak forward into Saturday and the re-match versus the Colts.

I was at the game last night and I think the defense is better than anticipated. Madden Steen looked like a beast. Luc Schweingruber was a very pleasant surprise. He's a very smooth skater and played a physical game last night. I thought he made good decisions and did a nice job tying up his man in front of the net. I think there's more there still as he gets comfortable. Okitundu had a solid game as well. He was skating well and making plays with the puck. He's very strong and out muscled the opposition for pucks all night. Jordan was solid. Rogers started to look comfortable later in the game and really shined the last 20 minutes of play. Nolan Seed had a bit of a rough night though. He got caught a few times and stripped of the puck. Made a few careless passes. I'm not sure who sits for him to be in the line up come opening night. Who's your top 6D to open the season?

Also thought Votary looked very good last night. He was in control of his body all night and got beat on three high danger shots that would have been tough for anyone to stop. He was pretty active playing the puck last night as well which I thought he did a nice job with.

Nice to see Colby and Cormier both get their first goals of the pre-season.

Colby is such a competitor.

Cormier is a very good skater, he showed it in traffic last night.

Votary is going to surprise some this season, he's very calm with the puck.

There is a lot to like about this group.

Stuff I like to see is how they play in the last minute , last night scored goals late in the second and 3rd.

How'd they respond after getting scored upon -I thought once N Bay tied at 2s, the Attack upped their intensity level.

Overall they did what should be expected, playing against an under manned Batallion squad .

Cormier showed well last night. He made some high end skill plays in the offensive zone and the goal he scored was a quick hard shot. He's not going to get the minutes Barlow got last year because of how deep the team is compared to last season but he looks like another strong draft choice.

I was hoping to see Tersigni last night but apparently he had to sit due to the fight in the previous game.

I agree but would add London in that mix 2. Mark Hunter will find a way to make a few additions and once again the Midwest will be a knockdown drag out dogfight every night. The positive for us fans is we will see a ton of amazing hockey EVERY night.

Just announced on Twitter. Attack trade the rights of Kyle Morey to Kitchener for Hamilton's 8th round conditional pick in 2023.

The team has so much depth. Nice to see them moving these 17 year-olds to give them a chance elsewhere while obtaining draft picks.

This just shows what type of depth the team has when we can move prospects to obtain other assets for down the road.

Maybe for 3rd and 4th in the Conference.

Flint and Guelph may have something to say.

Regarding the Rangers, as it stands right now, I would tend to agree - perhaps anywhere from 3rd to 5th. Montreal needs to send Mesar to Kitchener in order for them to get any consideration for a battle for top spot. Right now that may be a bit iffy considering Mesar's wishes.

Mesar i think ends up in Kitch, the habs in Lavel are stacked with young talent. He has not played on N/A ice yet. I think he will start in Kitch

It was confirmed a week ago that he was going to Kitchener
It was leaked by Jeff Marek. However since then, Mesar apparently made it clear to Montreal that he doesn't want to play in the OHL. (You gotta kinda admire a kid who wants to call his own shots....and to the Montreal Canadiens no less :) ) I do sort of see his point in that he has played in a men's league before. So word is that he wants to go to the SHL, whereas from what I read, Montreal does not want this. There is still an outside chance he latches on to Laval also, but arguably his odds are not as good for that to happen because of age / size and strength.

He's definitely a talent, but I won't believe he plays in this league until I actually see it.

The NBB had 11 skaters out (top four Dmen and top two lines and number 1 goalie). And I know OS had three key forwards out as well. What OS faced yesterday was at best a group of 15, 16 and 17 year olds that are no better than a weak JrA team and more likely a JrB team. But I agree, OS had to beat them like that - it was a form of shinny hockey last night. I am not sold on the OS backend but the forward group is as good as any in the league. I like them to be top 3 in the conference and with a good trade or two could be the fav to win the conference. Need to add some 19 year old experience in the lineup.

There will be an OA forward added to the group and that may be all....this team returns almost the entire lineup next year when things will really be fun

I think the defense is better than they get credit for. It's still likely the weakest part of the roster. Sedley, Schweingruber and Steen should all be solid this season. They obviously have to prove it once the season starts but the internal growth from the returning players has been promising to see early on.

I know the OA forward keeps coming up as Dale DeGray has repeatedly expressed his desire to add one if the right piece comes available but it seems like a bit of a luxury add at this point, no? If we're being realistic our top 6 forward group is pretty well established so the OA is slotting in on the third or fourth line. I have to imagine the goal would be to better equip the third line and push Bonaiuto to the fourth line with maybe some emphasis on the penalty kill? The power play seems pretty stacked with available weapons already.
