I mean, if you want to complain to Paul, we all know where he sits. Just let us know, I want my popcorn out for the show ;)

I remember posting this sometime in early November I believe, the last time the same 3 guys where freaking out over a slot spot in the schedule.

Ryan McGill in the middle of the 15 game winning streak back in 2016 I believe. I ran into him at a local spot and he said the following.

'Your not nearly as good as you are at your best, and your not nearly as bad as you are at your worst'.

Last time I posted this i think they eventaully got points in 10 straight and won 8 or 9 of them.

Maybe not the best time to overreact, unless your looking for a reason to overreact or complain, then I guess its a perfect time. I don't see the point based on past results, but complain all you like.
Talking to ownership/management would require coming out from behind the keyboard....never going to happen

I get that, thats why I said it, they are always available and approachable. If 4 games without a win riles them up so much, there are options other then complaining on a message board, but lets be honest, its not gonna happen.

Plus, Paul isn't a small guy and also not afraid to hurt your feelings if he thinks your out to lunch ;)

Qnce again AttackBeacher we are on the same page. Sometimes I'm afraid for you because you seem to think so much the same lol j/k. All I can add is unless D.D is away scouting he stands the same place every game. Dale is always willing to talk but be warned if you are a dick to him he will give it back. When I say you I don't mean you I aimed that at the original poster. Like I've said before Jr hockey is a roller coaster right now we're in a valley but at anytime they can climb the hill to the peak.

I believe they are 6th in the OHL,, 5 points out of top spot with a game or two in hand on teams ahead. Is that really worth all the complaining and the 'blow it up' drama? If thats drama worthy, wow, i would hate to see other things in their life that is drama worthy lol.

Interesting that Schwiengruber is no longer listed on the roster. Figured something was up after he was a scratch the last few games. Hope he lands on his feet somewhere.

I never said "blow it up".
I look at the data and then add in some of the leaderships commentary over the years. From there I say, meh another one of those years. Not "blow it up"
If we look objectively at the data we will see a pattern since 2006-2007. (with the exception of 2011 of course).
12 seasons with over 30 wins....amazing.......tough to do in this league.
4 seasons where we made it past the first round of playoffs. (11 seasons where we didn't)
This season appears to be headed in the same direction.
----------------------------------------------
7 of our last 8 games have been against teams that were in the bottom 2 places in their respective divisions. We have won 2 of our last 8.
Saturdays Sun Times headline read, "Coaches question compete level as Attack drop third-straight game"
Seems to me I am not the only one who is frustrated. Still not saying "Blow it up"
--------------------
Attack are in 6th place, 10 pts out of first with no games in hand. (except for 1 vs Saginaw). Three teams have a game in hand over Owen Sound.

The data doesn't lie. There is plenty of it out there. I personally would enjoy a season where we pushed all the chips in and said let's go for it. Win or lose it would be exciting.

Thanks for your time everyone. I hope i didn't offend anyone with these statistics.

Blow it up was directed to 88, he wants everyone traded.

Maybe just focus for next year lol, because this is brutal to watch right now. 29,25 would fetch a nice return of draft picks if we traded them. Some type of shake up needs to happen because the boys just don’t good at all lately. They aren’t firing the coach..
The 'if you do not like it, you should talk to the ownership about it' was 100 percent directed to you. If your going to take shots and mock them, which it seems you are doing, nothing wrong with that, but you should do it to their face.

They put the risk out there to keep this team here, they have the right to decide how they team opperates. I have a feeling being competitive and in the playoffs is what keeps the team in Owen Sound. If you had a record like Sudbury, Niagara or any of the other teams that miss the playoffs often, they'd be in Chatham right now.

Facts are facts, they are the 6th best team in the league right now, after loosing 4 in a row.

The last time there was a freak out over 3/4 losses was in mid October. Crying and complaining about the team from the same guys. At that point, the team went on to win 8 out of 10. At that point they stopped complaining, kind of.

Maybe Jr Hockey is filled with teenagers who do not always bring their best and at times will loose focus. Sometimes they play to expectations, but often they do not.

I keep going back to what Ryan said, your never as bad as you are at your lowest, and your never that good at your highest, your always somewhere in the middle.

The Attack are not the best team in the league, they are also not at blow it up territory. They are 6th in the league, which i kind of figured theyd be at at the end of the year. You may not love how they get there, but they probably are there we all thought theyd be.

I love the team I hate goalie. I think for an OA he is lazy and not that good, I’d much rather see them play George, thought the team played better when he was in net.

So your opinion is always the correct one. I think everyone has their own opinion, right or wrong. We all enjoy watching this team, frustrating or not . I personally know some of the players and thing they are all good kids, but I still have my opinion. what makes some of you hockey gods think your opinion is always correct. This is suppose to be a forum where everyone can voice their ideas and opinion , should not have to be told that this is not a place for my opinion.
Sorry I said this, but getting tired of reading that only a few on this forum are the only ones that have a thought about junior hockey.
IMO

Sarcasm.........hence the wink.
I was hinting at someone else saying I should take my opinion down to the corner of the rink and have Paul and DD straighten me out.
I am perfectly fine with everyone's opinion and version of what they see in the world.
Sorry for the confusion.

they already made 2 moves.

sting have this year only, attack will be better next year, why would you shoot your load this year and leave everything empty the following year? youd be more pissed at that

Because we have a hole on our second line RW and only 2 guys putting the puck in the net

Cool… they play on a line and if you shut them down which has been happening our secondary scoring is no where to be found..
the sarnia sting, kitchener rangers, guelph storm, on the west are not as deep on forward. flint is close, london is not as high end deep but may have more at the bottom. your reacting to a few bad games not the season. owen sound is very good this year, but next year has always been the focus. with all the teams going hard on buying, it actually sets them out very well for 24 if thats their 'go for it' year.

We do not have the assets to make that kind of move...
nor should you, youd be killing any opportunity to be the best team in the west next year.

Exactly why we should be moving pieces that won't be here next year to improve the chances for next year.

and you know they are not doing that? there's also something to be said about gaining some experience and winning a round or two. are the pics for the 02s enough for that?

What pieces won't be here?
Seed, Chenard, and Papais age out. Each of them would get a good return if they decide they won't be in the running this year. Yes it looks like we are a playoff team but the teams that feel they are true contenders are loading up. Then of the following players; Sedley, Sawyer, Goure, Burroughs, and Lawrence, only three can stay next year. It probably all depends if management feels they can move a couple and still get 30 wins. Lol.

seed woudlnt have much value, nor would papias, they moved papias for a 5th. chenard is the worst goalie in the ohl according to the one guy, so how could he have any value lol. i acutally think you could get a decent return for the goalie. seed would be maybe a 4/5th? whats the point.

serpa was a throw in and he has similar numbers to papias.

keeping them and trying to win to get guys more experience is probably a smarter play.

I hear you. The corp that returns next year gained some great experience last year in the 7 game series vs Flint and will again this year playoffs. Moving one or two pieces may not have that big of an impact on this year. Maybe take Chenard out of the mix of OA's to make available as we will will need him for playoff success, but I feel some others are expendable without disrupting things too much. Just my opinion so I hope I don't get torched like usual for having an opinion. I just believe next year could be a true go for it year.

i can kind of see why you get torched, opinions are great, doesn't mean your 100 percent right and doesn't exempt you from being called out on that opinion if majority believe thats its wrong.

i dont really see owen sound making a move unless its adding for next year, maybe move one of those 03s for an 04. I would think about moving chenard as i think votary and george may be able to be as good, but chenard could be one of the best 02s in the ohl when hes on, desite the one guy who thinks hes the worst in the ohl (go watch windsors 02 for a few periods, youll appriciate what you have :) )

the adds they will get will be sawyer and bryant.

Owen Sound
Attack have released Luc Schweingruber to cut down to 8D on the roster. They now have an open import slot though are not expected to fill it.

All players, minus Bonauito, are practicing in normal jerseys so we are looking at a full healthy roster or at least close to it if they elect to hold Sawyer and Bryant out this weekend for some extra time. To me, Sawyer is a much needed add on D and brings stability. Bryant coming back helps with Petrovsky's departure for the WJC and eventually should allow them some more flexibility up front. Ideally they can load up the top 6 and figure out a third line that can be effective.
