No compete, no accountability, just soft play as coach Hill suggested last week. Didn't he say if people were not going that GW would find guys who were? Yet we keep running that PP unit out there that hasn't been going for a year and half now. Two shorthanded goals against and #9 is nowhere on the screen while the puck is going in our net. But I guess he is going? Almost gave up 3 shorthanded goals when Barkey beat him 1 on 1 bc he was so tired. Doesn't have a PP goal in 4 years. This coach sits young kids who make a single mistake but let some of these so called leaders just cruise around and make mistake after mistake with no accountability at all. Sit that number one PP unit for an entire game and maybe they will get some.

22 looks like he is the only player on the team that cares and competes every shift regardless of the score. I guess you could say 39 does as well. I would be ripping the A's off jerseys. No compete at all from those guys. Just floating around entitled. This coaching staff needs to get it figured out now!

I've been asking myself the same question for awhile. To quote Ryan McGill your never as good as your high but your not as bad as your low but this is crazy. I don't have any answers but I'm afraid there is something strangely wrong in Attackland. The powers that be need to figure it out and deal with it.If we need to move players out to start preparation for next year so be it. I'm not 100% sure that this is a player issue but something has to be done here. We are on a 6 game losing streak after tonight(hopefully the boys prove me wrong) but in pretty much every game if we played more than 5-10 minutes of hockey we are at least 4w 2l in that stretch and probanly not having this discussion.
This is an incredibly fragile team right now. I thought they actually started last night's game strong. They get the PP opportunity about 5 mins into the game and cough up a puck on a zone entry for a shorthanded break that goes in the net and it broke them. They just completely fell apart. To me there's a massive confidence issue right now. Nobody is really going right now. The offense has gone cold and our #1 goaltender is struggling. Every mistake feels like it's going into the net.

Scoring the first goal tonight would go a long way. Big game tonight as nobody wants to dwell on a 6 game losing streak until their next game on December 28th.

Doesn't sound like any roster changes are coming so it's up to the coaching staff and the players to figure out how to get through this. Need your leadership group to grab the bull by the horns and get after it.

So don’t cheer for them. a kid took his life in the league today and this is what you bitch about. talk about priorities, wow
Word around the rink, the league left the decision up to the players.

In the case of tonight's game, both the Attack and Spits players chose to play.

Everyone deals with tragedy in their own ways. There is no right or wrong.

I’m fine with them playing. I find bitching and crying about something completely meaningless on a day like today selfish and in poor taste. read the room and have some perspective

there’s being upset and there’s being irrational and over the top. i read upset, I talked to upset kids after a loss, what you posted isn’t ‘upset’, it’s irrational hate. if you hate it so much why subject yourself to it and why subject others to your hate. life is too short.

lol look at your first post, literally crying.

if you are so cold and uncaring that your own emotions and need to bitch about 16-20 year old kids behind an anonymous handle takes precedence over the mental health of those kids, especially on a day when I’m sure they were struggling to begin with, speaks to your character, especially considering you probably won’t have the strength to say that around their coaches or anyone who would push back against your attacks.

This poster does not speak for the vast majority of Attack fans....life takes precedence over hockey for sure...the lack of perspective is GLARING!!
I’m sure, but no one really pushes back against his ranting and bullying.

Me lol this anonymous bit has gotten out of hand over time. I suppose it is monitoring life in general no accountability.

I don't think the players should hang their heads over last night's game. The effort was there, their top players were their top players, they generated scoring chances and worked to the dangerous parts of the rink in the offensive zone. Votary made all the saves he should make and a couple grade A stops to give them a chance. The Windsor goalie stole the two points tonight. That's hockey.

Despite the loss, overall, I think that's the best game the team has played in weeks. Hopefully they can recognize that and take the small mental victory into the Christmas break and carry a little positive momentum into the December 28th game.

Add Deni and Servac to that roster and Owen Sound wins..
Windsor was missing a top 4 D Michael Renwick and forward Ryan Abraham who was injured 9 games ago,had 26 points in 21 games, and 25 points in his last 17 games played prior to his injury, not so it would have been a guaranteed win if both teams were fully healthy.
