lol look at your first post, literally crying.

if you are so cold and uncaring that your own emotions and need to bitch about 16-20 year old kids behind an anonymous handle takes precedence over the mental health of those kids, especially on a day when I’m sure they were struggling to begin with, speaks to your character, especially considering you probably won’t have the strength to say that around their coaches or anyone who would push back against your attacks.

I’m sure, but no one really pushes back against his ranting and bullying.
Ok people, relax lol...I do have to comment on the one notion that you make here about a poster being "so cold and uncaring about their own emotions that they have to bitch about 16-20 year old kids....over the mental health of those kids...". This is a message board for hockey fans of the Owen Sound Attack, not an open discussion about mental health of teenage hockey players who read way worse on social media, trust me. They also receive training and counselling on the regular and I applaud those efforts made by the team and the league. Also, if the players choose to read this, they are strong enough to take it for what it is, don't worry. Point being, this is exactly the place for someone to rant or vent their frustrations about the HOCKEY team. They are not attacking players personally and spewing hate as far as I have read on this thread. I have read much more disgusting trash in years past. Just because you do not agree with someone's opinion on a player's effort, play or skill, the poster is simply expressing his opinion, which is what this message board is designed for.

As far as the team goes, I agree with the poster suggesting George be brought back up, and I have been asking for that since training camp to anyone that would listen to me lol. I watched that kid in camp and he is an absolute stud. Positioning is unreal, glove and blocker are lightning quick and best of all his rebound control and puck gathering skills are off the charts awesome. The main reason why I have been wanting him up in the Sound is I feel he would, and did, provide an immediate spark and confidence to the team. When he was in net, I never worried about being able to come back from a deficit, or cringed when there was a shot on net. Nowadays, I can barely watch a full game, and I sit at centre ice every game. It is frustrating to watch because we DO have the talent to make noise THIS year but we have zero energy with our current goalie tandem. I love Chenard but he must be still nursing an injury or something. He hasn't been the same since he was ran into at the end of the Oshawa game. It's too bad because he is a solid tender.

We can turn this around but there needs to be changes. Sometimes change can be hard, but the rewards may be worth it for everyone. Let's hope we see some effort from all areas of the team (management, coaches and players).

Let's go boys!!!

Windsor was missing a top 4 D Michael Renwick and forward Ryan Abraham who was injured 9 games ago,had 26 points in 21 games, and 25 points in his last 17 games played prior to his injury, not so it would have been a guaranteed win if both teams were fully healthy.
Very true. As an Attack fan I have been watching Abraham for over a year now I met his dad here in O.S and have talked with him a couple other times seems like a really good guy. Both teams were short so it is hard to say how a game with healthy teams would go. I have no problem with our loss Sat it was probably our best game in the last 6 or so. The 78 secs in the second was disappointing but thats hockey. I sit down at the visitors end and Costanza played one hell of a game I have to tip my hat to him.

Have a safe Christmas Attack fans. Fingers crossed for better things after the break
I've been criticized for disagreeing with people a bit so I'll reply with an agreement on this. Everyone have a Safe and Merry Christmas.

Hello Attack fans
Tonight I am reaching out to the broader hockey family and communities not as a London Knights fan, but as a concerned human being. As you know, one of our Knights players died tragically this past Saturday. His friends, family and the community are devastated.
Please consider donating to the GoFundMe page set up by his family to help with the funeral arrangements.
Thank you

Hi again.
Seems the page has been taken down for some reason.
The Knights are checking into it with the family right now. Please stay tuned.

That was needed and fun.

Adding Bryant and Sawyer to the lineup, not surprsingly, made a big difference. Uens has been much better lately as well.

Nice to see Chenard rebound after a bad few weeks, he doesn't need to be outstanding, just be what he was tonight, give the team a shot to win.

It was a nice turn out at the Bayshore tonight. The crowd got into it and was a fun experience.

Chenard was great tonight. Easily his best game since returning from injury.

Bryant and Sawyer are high energy and high character players. It seems to have lit a spark in their teammates with them back in the line up.

Hopefully they can roll with some momentum into Friday's game.

A great crowd and what an exciting game to start the second half. Both teams missing a couple key guys but didn't take anything away from the entertainment. Heres hoping the boys can keep it rolling into Friday.

Agree.

Whatever was 'ailing' Nick, he found his MOJO back home over Christmas.

The line is so fine on any team between top and bottom, if everyone is not clicking, it is the difference between winning and losing.

I think we saw about 3 shifts with a full lineup before Christmas .
Man, it willbe nice when that happens again .

Next thoughts, does DD make any moves before Jan 10 ?

3 Midwest teams have bolstered their lineups, is it enough to sit pat ??

I think realistically, if we stand pat we are in the 4-6 range in the conference. With Sawyer back and Sedley returning to D once Goure gets healthy, our D core looks solid. Chenard returning to form would be big boost. I still think they need a depth add at forward. They have been trying to figure out a forward combination to roll three lines consistently and haven't been able to stretch it out successfully as of yet. With Bryant back, Goure and Petrovsky returning soon, we have a really solid 8 forward foundation. Adding a 9th would allow them to run three strong forward lines. I think the hope was that Fantino or Brennan could be that guy but I don't think either has shown the consistency to be relied upon in the role.

With Missy as a likely seller, I wonder what someone like Kai Schwindt would cost? He's an 03 with an ELC with the Panthers. Not sure he would necessarily be back as an OA which could lessen the price tag. He's listed at 6'3" and 195lbs which could add some size to the forward group. Play style seems to be along the Attack mold.

Likely cost more then we have available if its draft picks.. we are pretty bare in that department at the moment

Goure said a couple weeks when I asked him at the game. From what I understand it is a cracked orbital bone. He was stitched up the night of the game and xrayed the next day which found the crack. Doc said the kid is tough as nails, but we all knew that.

Not sure what the price tag would be. He's not a top end player but would be a solid high compete player that fits the attack mold. I thought the price might be manageable, understanding that we do have limited resources. It's tough to find many suitable options that would be lighter on the proverbial wallet lol.

Maybe they can get a player who gets squeezed out on a contending team making adds for the right price. Might not be much of an add though and probably not worth doing if it's not an upgrade on what you have. I think it would be better to let the kids play if that's case.

Could be a quiet deadline for Owen Sound.

I saw some photos on Instagram and figured that might be the case. He's been having a great season, the most improved player this season in my opinion. He's made huge strides defensively and with his play off the puck. He's been tenacious tracking the puck and stripping it off the opposition. He's always been a good offensive player but has really worked hard to round out his game. I hope he gets drafted this year.

That was an awesome game and hopefully a kick start for the second half. The three players you mentioned; Bryant, Sawyer, and Uens are the sparkplugs of this team and all should get more ice time and important minutes in my opinion. They are the players that never take a shift off and have that compete and drive to get things going. I'm not sure your comment about Uens playing better lately is accurate! I think he has played that same way all year but now just getting the ice time he should because 9 is playing up front. I want them to keep 9 up there. He adds to depth on fwd and allows other D to play and develop instead of sitting on the bench or in the stands. When he is on D he logs up half the game on that right side. I would like to see Uens and Sawyer together as a top pair. They are the D with foot speed that can get to loose pucks first and take time and space away. Did you see how effective they were on the PK the other night. We saw last year in the playoffs that big slow D are not the answer vs skilled forwards.

Big game tonight before a tough road trip. Let's go Attack! See you at the Bayshore.

Another very "entertaining" game last night....point gained from something that did not look possible after the first...couple of really bad bounces in the first stung Nick...pulling him was more a wake up call to the team than a reflection on him I feel...OT excitement for the second game in a row at home did not go our way this time...looking forward to seeing them on the road nexr weekend!!
