I've watched the Fronts quit on their coach and I'm seeing the same from your players. A crucial game in which a team that was 14 points behind you at one point leapfrogs you to clinch a playoff spot, you guys trap and trap. They scored 8 goals on you while you trapped. If I was the coach I'd have a look at my system and realize something is very very wrong

Maybe the trap is the only system he knows!

Kitchener fan here just to tell you that you have a great group of kids on your team.

I was standing by the glass for warmups and got a front row view of the players. First off Barlow has some sweet hands. He was doing Michigans and can stick handle.

What I really want to say is that you have some great kids. Tersigni tossed a puck over the glass to my 10 year old son. There was this fan who has Down’s syndrome who was in an Attack jersey who was at the glass. The players were body checking the glass where he is, high fiving and punching it through the glass where he was, George came and leaned up against the glass at him, one of the players got him a puck. You could tell that he loved how much that the players were interacting with him. It really made me smile and everyone else around was watching it and loved it. Great group of kids.

We want to thank Coach Walters for his time and wish him the best of luck with his future endeavors. We are pleased welcome Coach Petey Pylon to the Attack family.
He got run out of Oshawa because he tried to go back on his contract and said he wanted more money for the 4th year despite signing a 4 year contract. Gens said see ya

How sad but kinda funny would it be if we get stuck at 29 and dont hit 30 this season.. I think it would be a sure thing to be looking for a new coach and likely gm if they cant find away to hit the 30 win plateau..

Owen Sound gets back on track tonight with a 6-2 win over the banged up Gens. Colby Barlow seizes the opportunity to put on a show in front of the team he'll get traded to at the deadline in 2 years and gets 4 points, including the GWG

Has anyone considered....
Early season other teams we played weren't as good as they are now and we looked better. Kitchener as an example
Production from Burroughs, Guindon, Petrosky has dropped off from the year before
The loss of Gavin Bryant IS a big deal (and now Lawrence as well)
Chenard hasn't been the same since his injury and Votary was getting better but still wasn't elite
This years rookies haven't been the impact as the ones from previous years. Happy to see Tersigni and Cormier get goals last night. I have been waiting for Tersigni to come into form, he's always looked good out there. Jury out on Cormier yet, expected more, but he also hasn't gotten a ton of opportunities.
We play in the midwest / west

These kids are better than "quiting on the coach". Sometimes you just lose hockey games. Maybe the coach(es) is to blame I don't watch close enough to say for certain. They did turn around a terrible powerplay that once always relied on the drop pass for zone entry and are now flying into the zone.

I really liked the line combos last night. You gotta have a big body with Barlow, Hookey is fitting in well.

I like good hockey. I've enjoyed being able to watch a competitive team for the last 12 years.

It looks like we are starting to see Tesigni really blossom of late. He was excellent Saturday night and he along with Papais really seemed to click. He looks like he's playing with a ton of confidence. I really like his game.

Nice to see Cormier tickle the twine as well. It's been a disappointing season for him but it would be nice to see him carry a little positive momentum in terms of his individual play from the end of the season into next year.

Rogers is starting to make some plays as well, seemingly coming out of his shell, and looking more and more comfortable out there. George has been the reel star of this draft but the the other rookies are starting to look like players as well.

Is tonight's game a first round preview?
It's possible but highly unlikely. The only way it happens is if it's the 4 vs 5 seeding and both teams would need to pass Saginaw. Owen Sound is 7 points back of Saginaw. The best seeding the Attack can reasonably get is the 5 seed. Flint currently sits in 5th with a four point lead on Owen Sound but Owen Sound has two games in hand. Flint and Owen Sound play twice to close out the season which will likely have some influence on the seeding. It's a tough schedule to close out the regular season for Owen Sound.

3/15 - Flint @ Owen Sound
3/17 - Owen Sound @ Barrie
3/18 - Kitchener @ Owen Sound
3/21 - Sarnia @ Owen Sound
3/24 - Owen Sound @ Sarnia
3/25 - Owen Sound @ Flint
3/26 - Owen Sound @ Saginaw

Owen Sound will need to find another gear to close out the year in 5th and avoid the big three of Windsor, London and Sarnia.

The St Marys vs London GOJHL schedule is out. It directly overlaps with Owen Sound's remaining schedule.

That really might make it a tough go.. heres hoping votary can return to help with the work load.

Cue the conspiracy theories 😀
Somethin about the team they are playin against that raises questions. I realize they are not the knights but just makes you think a bit lol

Sounds like St Marys took game 1 against London and Carter played his 10th and final game on the playing card tonight so until they are out he is done with our team. Great game by the kid cant wait to see what he can do next year and the rest of this year when and if he comes back.

Ok. So I DID get a new tv awhile back but did you guys get new lights? I’m gonna start a new conspiracy that the Bayshore has oversized ice.
Haha. Yes new 'big ' ice .
New lighting, supposed to replace the boards and glass next summer
