I took notice of that too. He is still quick, especially if you compare him to other players his age, Corey Perry for example is way way slower.

Yep. If he can keep this burst for at least one year, he’ll get much closer to the record. The challenge, of course, is that he can’t do that many bursts per shift. But he and the coaching staff are smart enough to regulate his shift time, so he could conserve energy and still be useful to the team.
