You and me both, and about 95% of Caps fans. There are a handful of fans who for some reason like the current uniforms when they are complete ass and a bottom three sweater in the league. The Caps have put out some beauties in recent years with the reverse retros and historically have had great jerseys all the way back to their inception but these Reeboks are, have been, and will continue to be an abomination. The piping and random splotches of color under the arms drives me insane.

I know they probably won’t change them until Ovi retires but now that the Kings and Ducks have updated their jerseys, the Caps have the most tired jerseys in the league and are in desperate need of an upgrade.
Lets see the data behind that. Those having lived through those unis they were terrible the day they were released and good riddance.

I did kinda like the red variant of that jersey as an ok alt.

The current unis are getting a bit stale.

I just never clicked with the logo and the color scheme of that jersey - I do however love the red of the current jersey though - it pops!

He’s still a stud and I’ve said it 100 times in this thread alone but I’ll say it again: he can hit 1000 goals if he wants to play a few years past his current deal.

Probably goes back to Russia to play in the K or retires before that but if he wants 1000 he can easily get it. And I really hope he does try for it

All time classic

as a trash beer league player I'm proud to say I managed to do this because of this.

the only difference is that as a bad player I was in the defensive zone and skating backwards as a winger, so I didn't do the full spin because I arguably wasn't in position, but the touch off the boards and transition to breakaway felt as sexy as it looks

Sorry, of topic... Does anyone else read the thread title in their head in Buzz Light year's voice?

Congrats - I think you are the first person in the history of HF Boards to equate your hockey goal with one of Ovie's - that's quite a claim

We’re basically the same except for the exposure.

Although real talk it’s pretty fun to do something that makes both benches go “oooohhhhh” since we’re all out here hacking away at pretending to be good.
