Petry 1g 1a.

Chiarot has a goal, too

Edit: 2 assists for Petry, his goal was tipped in and tsn.ca lied to me.

I wrote back in the day that KK would probably be better than Suzuki long term and people laughed at me. His advanced stats were just better despite the production not being there.

And now he's 23, the age MB/Timmins said he would be "ready". He might not stay ppg this season, but he finished last season with 18 pts in 22 games with less than 16 minutes of TOI (under 2m of PP). He's having more PP time this season (currently around 3m per game), so 65-75 pts isn't out of the question if he keep that pace.
Why did you ignore his 7 points in 15 games in the playoffs? Not like he PKed either, that's not ideal production for your pure offense 2C. The guy is a very streaky player and hasn't improved considerably. To claim that Suzuki is worse is indeed laughable when Suzuki plays all situations and is the vastly superior player in every part of the game. Hell even if by some miracle KK produces 65 points this year, I'm still taking Suzuki over him with ease (but it will obviously hurt that we lost that kind of player for a late 1st and a 3rd).
The worst was habs fans on the main boards always saying how KK will never amount to anything or how much off a bust he is or how much Canes got fleeced by that contract. Now it's looking more like the Canes did well.
So far he's still exactly what many here said, a 3C. Nearly 5 million for a young 3C isn't a disaster, but it's not a steal of a contract either. I guess it's gonna depend on how the cap increases. The real disaster was passing up on Tkachuk for him.

Wednesday night predictions:
Kk will top out at 50 points.
Crapitals will be a lottery team.
Bolts will battle for a wild card spot.
More injuries are on the way for us.

43 points last year after an horrible start and he's much better this year. I don't see how you call that a 3c and hes only getting better. But i guess we will see at the end of this year lol

Good team. Mine’s a yahoo public rotisserie so I’ve got to take 4 D and 2 G. Georgie’s has been awesome for me.

You did well with Sorokin. Shutout last night.

I usually go with a zero G strategy but I had 2nd overall and he was there at 19, I had to take him.

I'm in a roto league at work, my team is strong but injuries have killed me so far. But I think most don't understand the rules and are playing full rosters every night, so I'll be able to catch up later when they run out of games.

The Kotkaniemi thing puts our situation today in perspective. KK is now coming into his prime and we’ll see how good he’s going to be. Seems like forever ago that he was drafted he but he’s only now turned 23…

Some people tough Suzuki was a first line c let's put another perspective. In his last 60 games Suzuki has 39 points and KK has 42 points. Suzuki also played arround 21 minutes/games and Kk 14 minutes. The third line C is outproducing him... only 60 games i know but still

The guy always has horrible stretches, you can’t just ignore them. It’s been 4 games, you can’t make such a conclusion after that sample size.

May want to take a look at the caliber of players on Canes, that KK is surrounded by vs Suzuki’s..
