Good takes overall.

I love the crow thats about to be served. Its funny that a lot of Slaf's best knights were KKs harshest critics.

KK is gone
The guy that let KK walk is gone
The guy that drafted KK is gone

But he's still in your heads living rent free.

Amazing
Its the OOT thread

What's the chance that *every of our latest 1st rounders (including Dach) will have troubles growing up in the NHL while playing for the Habs? ._.

I don't know about combined (unless dachvis out all season), but he could quite easily finish @ ppg and/or outpointing anyone in the Habs.

He's well on his way to making that extension look like a steal for the Canes.

How quickly so many Habs fans gave up on, then got downright nasty about the player, always was silly. So many fans simply don't get player development nor have the ability to see anything beyond the stat line when evaluating players.

A lot of similar hot takes & blindness about Slaf, only difference is how quickly the peanut gallery started to sour on him.

Hopefully Slaf ends up feeding them crow the same way JKO is, and will continue to, in the years ahead.

I wrote back in the day that KK would probably be better than Suzuki long term and people laughed at me. His advanced stats were just better despite the production not being there.

And now he's 23, the age MB/Timmins said he would be "ready". He might not stay ppg this season, but he finished last season with 18 pts in 22 games with less than 16 minutes of TOI (under 2m of PP). He's having more PP time this season (currently around 3m per game), so 65-75 pts isn't out of the question if he keep that pace.

Didn't they just beat the Oilers twice?

The Sharks had like 13 shots total Blackwood is keeping the games close so far. 0-1-1 .926

Big mistake to get a goalie that can steal games in a tank year. I hear Ivan Prosvetov could be available…

The worst was habs fans on the main boards always saying how KK will never amount to anything or how much off a bust he is or how much Canes got fleeced by that contract. Now it's looking more like the Canes did well.

I expect Kotkaniemi to succeed in Carolina and I doubt that he would have made it in Montreal.

He woud certainly be able to center a third line on this club and actually free up Monahan for a top 6 slot where he obviously should be playing. Just a bad bad move losing him in the manner we did.

I still remember some of the dumb takes that Dvorak would easily do better than Kotkaniemi. Certain posters went on, and on, and on.
