Jets clinch WC2 with a 3-1 win over Minnesota. Nashville is eliminated.

They'll play either Dallas or Colorado in 1st round. Probably a surging Colorado team.

Minnesota will likely play Dallas.

Has it been mentioned that the penguins just lost to the hawks with their season on the line?

Hawks haven't done much but they seem to have had their fair share of spoiler fun.

The Hawks merely added their contribution. We did all the work to get the Panthers into the playoffs instead of the Pens by letting Florida sweep us and sweeping the Pens. Now watch the Panthers win the cup so that our pick becomes #32... :help:

Hope the Leafs/Bolts game isn't indicative of how playoff reffing is going to be....16 minors with the Laffs taking the lead on a 5 on 3.....refs need to step the f*** down.
5 on 3? Leafs have had 1 5 on 3 pp all year and that was a couple of weeks ago. Your post is incorrect
But sure yhe officiating was crap - Tampa had 8 pp and leafs had 6

Not sure what was incorrect....up until the Leafs scored to go up 3-2, there had been 16 minors called. Total for the game was 20......11 for the Leafs, 9 for Tampa.

Leafs took the lead on a 5 on 3 PP.

The reffing was much too evident for my liking.

Not really that important, just wanted to correct an error. Leafs went 2/6 on the pp. First pp goal by Nylander was a 5 on 4. Second pp goal by Jarnkrok was a 4 on 3. Perhaps there lies the confusion.

You are right....Janrok goal was a 4 on 3...I could have sworn it was 5 on 3. Regardless, I was criticizing the refs... .not the Leafs.

Man there’s going to be 30 players at 80+pts season and +10 at 100pts and of course none are playing for the Habs.

It’s really infuriating that we can’t seem to pass the 70pts mark. What did we do to deserve such awful offense over the years?

The Organization has been stuck in the mindset that you gotta be gud pros, strong defensively, and not make mistakes since Jacques Lemaire trapped like it was going out of style.

They drafted accordingly, hired coaches accordingly, didn't value offensive skills or development, and spent all their team eroding the skills that made them draft players and try to turn them into defensive sound robots and couldn't even do that right.

Things will change now that we have a smart management team in place.
