Saros is better than 2017-2021 Price. Much better. Vasi was 26 when he signed. Not 31. Bobs contract, while it worked out in the end for the panthers, is highly unadvisable

Giving that contract to a 31 year old goalie with injury concerns was never a good idea.

26-34 is where you get the value, not 31-39. We predictably got 2 good years out of that 8 year deal.

Agreed - but any GM in MBs place at that time would’ve done the same… talking highly respected in hockey circles, guaranteed 1st ballot HOF
