You're so caught up in the word 'hate' dude. I'll say PREFERS others if it helps you.
What helps is using the words you mean
And that is my point, I think he was better than a 7D/ waiver type player and he is showing that this year, and would be a far more stable option than some of our D this year too.
The decision to trade him wasn't just about his level of play or likelihood of being better than every dman we expected to play.
Including this interview into this conversation is ridonkulous -
Yes, why let his own words inform your hot take lol
Why would MSL preferring other D mean he would not enjoy his time here?
Preference and hate are not equivalents. I responded to what you wrote. Appreciate that you've clarified what you meant... Far less silly if a take.
I'm sure he loves Marty too, that that has nothing to do with getting benched for 1/4 of the year.
And how often do players even say anything bad about the team/city/coach when they leave anyway lol.
Pretty often when they feel that their game was hated by their coach
All of this has nothing to do with the point that he would be playing better than Savard and Barron on our team right now.
But the team didn't see him in their plans.
Is what it is.
That wasn't the point you made.
"MSL hated him tho and was the 7th D in his mind."
Is not the same point as:
"he would be playing better than Savard and Barron on our team right now."
The former is a silly exaggeration. The latter is an opinion I happen to agree with and would've told you as much (via that trusted thumbs up emogi)
Not the end of the world - I would have kept him over Barron and traded Savard last deadline but that's just me.
I'd take him over Savard today, last summer I'd agree with prioritizing the experienced vet knowing I had such a young D group in place.
No chance I'd have kept him over Barron, then or now.
Please share me Pezz's exit interview at the end of the year and remind me that the coach was his biggest fan if that is what you are getting from my comment.
? No idea what this silly comment means and not interested in figuring out what you mean this time.
