Friedman basically said the Coyotes moving to Salt Lake city might be a handshake deal with "future consideration*" going back to the Coyotes owner.
*Get a new franchise in Arizona if he ever manage to build an arena

Certainly seems like what is going down.
If they get a new real arena built in Arizona then they'll get another shot. Way to big of a market. Just need a real arena and stable ownership.
This could be good for Quebec City though, because at some point the NHL will expand to 36 teams. For better or worse. And QC should have a decent shot at being one of those teams.
This is bad news for us... Price to Zona was a slam dunk if they were staying put. With the move, there goes the one franchise with a clear need to add a big LTIR contract... Doubt the Utah group will remotely consider it
