Byfield is COOKING this season.

Easily becoming one of my favorite player to watch

Normally I wouldn't say anything but...

This goal 100% happen because Cooley shat his pant and threw the puck in the middle in panic to avoid getting hit by Kempe.

No thanks!

WTF is this. How can you not invite the czhechs and the slovaks, plus the swiss.

Russians should plays as the world cup Athletes from Russia. Russians are playing on the atp tour.

Kings are serious contenders. Deep forward corps with size, offense, and good two way players.

People here are blinded by Byfield's swagger, they probably didn't realize it was Cooley who "passed" him the puck because he saw a guy in white coming at him.

Laine getting scratched after coming out of a concusion not long ago is a pretty cold move by Vincent.
FYI, it was on, or very close to, the anniversary of Laine's father's death a couple of years ago. Vincent said Laine needed "a breath" and this would certainly qualify.

Holy shit is Bouchard completely clueless on the defensive side of the puck. He's laughably bad. Whole Oilers defensive play is trash. I thought Montreal is bad, but Oilers are on a whole nother level right now.

Between him and Laf, they are really showing patience is key with young players.
La was also patient with Vilardi, who was the main(?) Piece in the PLD deal.

Not trying to change it, but the Habs are "stuck" with Slaf. You're with him until he becomes something, or it's overwhelmingly obvious he's not an NHLer.

So, 3.5 more years.

Even after 5 years might need another year, or two

Oilers have been on a "whole nother level" for a few years in the dzone. Their D coaching and scouting has been terrible for decades.

The fact their issues have remained the same and clearly evident for years and nothing has changed is ridiculous to me. They need new leadership in management. I think the threat of McDavid walking will make it happen.

If they lose McDrai that franchise is done. I really hope they can keep it together.

Draisaitl can sign an extension this summer as next year will be the last on his current deal. If the Oilers can't get this turned around I will have a hard time seeing him sign an extension. He will probably just wait it out and see how next year goes before he decides on what his future holds.

Its why I laugh about not doing a 'panic trade'.

If you don't fix this issue soon and just fold a year of McDrai.. you will upset both Drai and McDavid and risk having either one of them or both want to leave when they can.

You have to do something and being Bergevin in this situation is a massive mistake.
