Well the coach said “Huby had an off night so we went with who looked to be going”.

That sets it up for Huby to come back and prove he can at least pick up some non-primary assist points like Barkov… :sarcasm:

Ofc. Huby just wasn't feeling it last night but he's ready to score a handful of points in the next game. Guaranteed.

Was actually a really tight game and then the Leafs just completely imploded in the third period. Whole team fell apart, but especially the goalie.

Ryan Reaves was out on the ice with like 5 seconds left trying to start a fight. It's just pathetic.

Watching Kings vs Vegas rn

Not the most exciting teams but man, Byfield is an exciting young player with his combination of physical tools and potential offensive prowess. Hope he makes it big as a player.

Going to say something that I rarely say, or rarely feel is ever appropriate to say:

Reaves is a disgrace to the sport.

“Panthers GM Bill Zito and Montour’s camp are zeroing in on a new deal that could fall in the neighbourhood of $7 million per season over seven or eight years.”

“[Reinhart] will command a raise over his current $6.5 million cap hit and according to one team source, the Panthers have expressed a desire to explore an extension and those discussions will get underway later in the season with his camp.”

Well, goodbye Gustav.

Regardless of if it’s the right move to make or not, I just don’t see him leaving barring a ridiculous ask (Nurse, Jones, etc)

I don't think Zito will even get to that point. I think he'll just ask for Ekky's no trade-list and starts calling teams based on that. imo it won't matter if Ekblad's ask is eight, nine or ten mil per... he's gone if Monty gets a 7-8 year deal with the Panthers.
