WTF happened to Edmonton this year anyway?

That rat face who's coaching them decided to change their system from man to man to zone D. Apparently because Vegas won with playing zone and he thought they should play that way too. Has seriously backfired, their defense is lost.

Believe me, it hurt seeing it in person. But given how the Canucks have started the year they could be a legit playoff team in a questionable Pacific division

They are riding high but we've seen this story before. I'm still not convinced. But yeah Pacific looks really weak now.

Edmonton was up 19-2 in shots, completely dominating Vancouver... with only a 1-0 lead in the first period. Score's now 3-1 Vancouver and the Canucks will have two minutes of fresh ice power play to start the second period.

Also, every time I watch a Canadian broadcast I'm reminded of how much better their intermission stuff is compared to US broadcasts. They go through the scores and highlights of every other game that's being played that night, something that I've found sorely lacking on any Ballys broadcast (regardless of if it's the Panthers or any other team).
