Ya know, the Lightning's current stretch of contending started in 2015. It took them until 2020 to win, and in 2019 they had a rather epic meltdown you might have heard about. Most teams that win cups spend a couple of years learning what it takes in the playoffs. Hell, look at Ovechkin and the Caps. A decade or so of 2nd round losses, until they finally put it together.
We have stuff to learn, for sure. But most teams that win Cups have a lot of struggles before they finally put all the pieces together.
So we're not there yet. But we are taking steps forward, and teams and players aren't static. They'll take this year and turn it into fire for next year. We're only at the beginning of the process.

This is an ongoing issue everywhere. My wife's little sisters work food and bev and it's literally the exact same thing with them. People being rude beyond belief seems to be the standard nowadays to the average service worker. I rarely even go out anymore just because I don't want to be seen as one of these douches.

Shiiiiit you mean $19? I went there in 2002 had a Snapple and a mediocre chicken salad sandwich from some random deli and my bill was like $25.

I know. As much as I want the Isles to win, it is frustrating to see that they are able to beat Tampa and we can't.

It is frustrating but the Isles are a much older team than us and Trotz is obviously way more seasoned than Rod as a coach. We just need to give it a little bit of time.

Talked about this somewhere else. The refs have a well earned reputation for letting things go in the playoffs, we saw first hand how cross checks dont get called in the regular season. Most of this stuff does even out case in point the Bolts hold all the time and never get called.
