God knows I've been an Islanders skeptic, but if they can pull this off to force Game 7 and then eliminate the Lightning, they'll be doing the lord's work.
I hope they win and burn Nassau to the ground.Game 7! Even if the Isles lose on Friday, that'll be a hell of a way to send off Nassau.
I can't fathom why a bunch of drunk assholes are throwing beer cans on the ice.

Ya know, the Lightning's current stretch of contending started in 2015. It took them until 2020 to win, and in 2019 they had a rather epic meltdown you might have heard about. Most teams that win cups spend a couple of years learning what it takes in the playoffs. Hell, look at Ovechkin and the Caps. A decade or so of 2nd round losses, until they finally put it together. That right there, is what we don't have in the playoffs. We can come back during the regular season, but the playoff poise is something we need to grasp.

This is an ongoing issue everywhere. My wife's little sisters work food and bev and it's literally the exact same thing with them. People being rude beyond belief seems to be the standard nowadays to the average service worker. I rarely even go out anymore just because I don't want to be seen as one of these douches. So why are the Isle fans throwing beers? I mean, I get maybe 1 or 2 but geez.
Well if the Islanders lose game 7, at least they close Nassau out with a bang (and beer)
I'm pretty sure I saw a half eaten something or other hit a Tampa player in the face as they were walking down the tunnel.
Well what would be the preferred cuisine of Long Guy Land? Thin-slice pizza? Probably a $9 version of that.
That was a straight up snipe. But it makes us just folding up vs Tampa even more painful.
I know. As much as I want the Isles to win, it is frustrating to see that they are able to beat Tampa and we can't.
But we have McCormick!?!?!?!It is frustrating but the Isles are a much older team than us and Trotz is obviously way more seasoned than Rod as a coach. We just need to give it a little bit of time.
Question from the peanut gallery.....
How come it is perfectly acceptable for the national media to complain about the officiating on behalf of MTL, and Keith Jones keeps complaining about NYI getting away with penalties, but if we say something we get called whiners?
