I've watched him enough. No IQ whatsoever. Nothing between the ears. Has talent, has size. Has all the tools, no toolbox. Weak mentally, gets frustrated too easily and he got KOed by Hathaway a year and a bit back and he's never been the same since.
But he hasn't benefited yet from the Travis Green experience!

they wanted a centre
I am listening to Seravalli on youtube: he said there was a ton of interest in Cozens around the league, and there is a lot of frustrated GMs that they couldn't get the deal done. He said a lot of GMs believe Cozens still has great upside which begs the question, why would Buffalo let him go?

What the F?

Terrible trade. Norris has been killing it lately. 20 goals and missed time due to injuries for an 11 goal scorer? We just got fleeced. Looks like Staios is becoming Dorion 2.0
Don't underestimate how Buffalo sucks the life out of every good player they have.

I expect Cozens to get a big boost in terms of energy/positivity.

I feel really bad for Norris though, this could really harm his career.

This is definitely some Sabre-itis, but Cozens has a penchant for making *extremely* stupid passing/dangling choices on the powerplay near the blue line and while trying to break out of his own end

Teams make mistakes with bigger guys on longer curves all the time. They grow tired of waiting on the development and stabilization, only for it to come at 24-26

Zib is a guy just like that, we know too well what that's like.

Here's hoping Cozens gets back to his 21 year old season, we know he has that level

We have Cousins and Cozens now lmao.

Saves up cap space, and Norris should be easy to play against within our own division. Hit him a bit and he'll disappear.

Maybe put Cozens on the wing? I think he's better suited there.
It will be interesting to see what Green does on Saturday afternoon 12:30 start against NYR.
I suspect Cousins might be RW with Pinto on the 2nd line.
We still need another top forward; probably will happen in the off-season.

For two reasons:

Buffalo is a garbage organization, probably the single worst sports franchise in the world alongside the New York Jets.

Buffalo needs help on the PP and Norris is solid there.

We need help 5v5 and Cozens is solid there.

So, just so I understand they are having trouble scoring so they trade a 20 goal scorer, 33 pts for an 11 goal scorer, 31 pts & they have to add JBD a RD which they say are valuable to the deal? Yea, makes perfect sense. :sarcasm: We have to add these cartoons now so people no we're not serious.

No hands? He's got the same amount of goals as Stutzle, he had 35 goals just two seasons ago before his injuries, he has scored some highlight reel goals. I like Cozens but he has 11 goals & 31 pts this yr while Norris has 33 pts & this team needs scoring forwards. And Ott has to add JBD a RD, why? They should be the ones adding to this deal.

Norris has 1 primary assist at 5v5 all year. 9G and 3A total at even-strength.

Cozens has 25 ES points (9G and 16A).

So while he may not be the goalscorer, he should help his wingers a lot more.

I mean Buffalo is going into seller mode as they need to change up the look of their roster considering how horrible their season is going.

I don't know why they gave up the extra 2nd rounder though as they likely need it even more than we do.
