That won’t be an issue, his cottage is close to Ottawa, and one of his preferred destinations. For Arizona's sake, I hope all the conditions are that Chychrun gets off the plane in Ottawa.

Everyone acting like every 1st round pick is the same all of a suddenA pick in the top 15 is a lot better than late 20s in this draft.
Well he doesn't fit their timeline, so trading him made sense but I think they expected a big packageWhat the f*** is Arizona even doing? Eternal rebuilding?
Honestly, this should be a case study of how you lose all leverage. Half the league was interested in this guy and Arizona's insane prices likely drove them away
Boston with Orlov
Edmonton with Ekholm
LA with Gavrikov
Toronto with McCabe
Coyotes realized they were left at the dance with no partner and started to panic. Great deal by Ottawa
Surely you realize how tight the Eastern wild card race is?Ottawa will make the playoff this year ..
Canucks need defensemen that can defend lolCanucks needed a right-shot D more.
I think he has some family connections here. He's probably pissed he's going to Ottawa. But it's a good deal for the Senators only having to use draft picks.
Does Edmonton have a top 15 draft pick to move? Ottawa could still easily slide down and have that pick end up being around ~10.Why exactly didn't Edmonton top this offer and settle for Ekholm instead? As bad a return as it is for Arizona, I don't love it for Ottawa. Chychrun is likely walking in two years, they are spending a lot of draft capital lately and not that competitive.
Will they? 5 points out of a spot right now.Ottawa will make the playoff this year ..
We need defensemen in general so Allvin can't be done yet lol.Canucks need defensemen that can defend lol
Nah, they just need an arena and to hit on some picks at the top of the draft and they'll be a solid franchise. They've had some bad luck and are good for the League's TV footprint because that's a big market. Keeping them in AZ makes sense. So looks like it's true that Arizona refused to take any money back.
Just relocate them already.
Today by points% it is 13thThis is not really “cheap” imo. That 1st is a big time pick.
Not really.Sens paid less for Chychrun then Jeannot went for. Wild lol
