CU is lining this up pretty well, the broncos with russ will probably suck for the next 3-4 years, Prime will be there for at most 4 I'd guess. They could be the best football to watch in town for a while if they pull it off

Best in town = Boulder/Longmont or Denver?

Aside from Payton who are those HC?

I have a hard time naming a former HC that could help Wilson get back to some semblance of his former

Agreed maybe they can find the right OC and QB coach…as for former head coaches agreed pickings are slim. Dan Quinn who is not the answer is the only active one I can think of. Maybe they can coax Cowher out of the booth. Can’t see him letting Russ pull any prima doll stuff.

Finally some accountability. Now fire Paton too. Clean house Walmart.

How about no? Penner said that he would be leading the search for new HC which itself is a huge red flag. You don't want a guy with no football background with inherited money filling all the important postions.

I'd rather have, LITERALLY, anyone else do it, than the Jackass who signed Russell Wilson to THAT contract.

Leading can also mean that he will make the final call. But often these new owners rely on former President or GMs like Bill Polian or someone like that to recommend people so thus you end up with similar candidates and not the new blood.

Quinn is a DC so not sure how he helps to fix Russ. He had his side of the ball to deal with in Seattle in managing the egos of the LOB.

Russ’s OC in Seattle were Bevell, Schotemheimmer, and Waldren. Need an OC who has worked with a smaller QB to understand the limitations of the offense imo. Have to adjust and account for that.

Anyone with the last name Schottenhiemer will have a rough go in this town.
