1 point back of Peter Stastny.

Once he passes him, Malkin and Sundin will be the only European Centers ahead of him in points. There's a decent chance he passes both of them eventually

Hmm. I don't know. He's gotta get like 150 more points to get past both. 130 to get past Sundin. It's possible, but a lot can change suddenly at this point in his career.

After we trade Greentree and a 1st for Malkin (another center), that will ensure Kopitar catches him. Malkin's production will immediately fall off a cliff when Hiller turns him into a 3rd line winger.

I think that’s a little off

Especially in the 2010s Kopitar was frequently in the top 25 and often 10-20

He was always “just out of sight” which is why people underrate his offense
Kopitar placed in the top 20 in scoring six times. That matches a number of HOF players including Iginla, Kariya, Lindros, Gilmour, Alfredsson, Roenick and Goulet. And it's more than HOF'ers like Datsyuk, Hossa, McDonald, Bure, LaFontaine, Nieuwendyk, Ciccarelli, Andreychuk, Gartner, etc.
