Denver
That’s what heineke did vs Philly. He rolled out same as Russ but he didn’t see if open so he took a knee. Not sure why that wasn’t reminders to Wilson as well. We either get the first down or we keep the clock running. If they get a first down and go out of bounds they take 3 kneel downs and win the game. Go down in bounds leaves rhe raiders 70 seconds to work. In the end it wouldn’t really change much but the raiders maybe don’t dump 2 short passes to Hollins before the midfield strike to Cole and then the wheel route to Jacobs. Who knows if Jacobs opts to get out of bounds earlier on that pass and save more time.

But still operationally a poor decision by Wilson to throw vs just take a sack and keep the clock moving.

remaining games for Denver are carolina, Arizona, Rams, Ravens, Chargers and twice vs Chiefs.

I don’t see Denver getting more than 6 wins this season so it’s going to be a top 10 pick to Seattle. Too 5 if they only win 1 more game. If they win 2 probably ends up 3-7 OVerall.
Yep exactly, Heineke even got them to take a late hit penalty in the process. Can't imagine that Russ wasn't instructed to do the same in that situation.

Not to mention Dulich was open for a first. Made a great move to get open and Russ never saw him.

man all I’ve heard from the broncos this year is lack of accountability.n most recently from Gordon l,who says he don’t think his fumble lost the broncos the game the other night… that locker rooms probably a cess pool

Russ has some HORRIBLE field awareness some of the wors I’ve seen from a broncos qb in a bit

I know it may not be en vogue and I'm certainly glad the guy is finally gone, but Melvin deserves credit for facing the media after some of his toughest games. He could've run and hid, and he didn't.

This just convinces me that Paton should also be shown the door. Bringing Fumble Gordon back was just an idiotic decision, and it took him well past the halfway point of the season for him to finally acknowledge it.

I put NFL network in the background all day waiting for a 'Breaking News : Broncos fire moron head coach' headline.

I can't believe he's still there.

If Deion does come to CU, I don't know if it will work but I'll be so damn entertained.

Him coming here also means CU admin finally changing things to actually be successful on the field, which is positive. No way he comes here unless he's promised NIL, transfer rule changes, etc.

Please let it happen. He can at least recruit some good talent.

Wow, what a whack job :

Heard a stat from a podcast that Fumble Gordon the turd on average fumbled the ball once every 18 carries this past season.

And yet he seems puzzled as to why fans hated him or that people were pinning losses on him when he was turning the ball over at the worst possible time.

It's like a serial killer not understanding why people are so mad at him...'like what did I do that was SO wrong'???
'yeah, you know... the murders...?'

f***ing psychopath

I will be a monkey's uncle if a single playoff team looks at Melvin Gordon and thinks "yeah, that guy can help. Let's sign him."

Unless you want to lose your playoff game due to a fumble inside the red zone. Then by all means write the cheque.

lol best part of that article is where he doesn’t think he was cut because of his fumble problems. Paton not bringing it up at all in the talk also tells you how fake he is.

Call me crazy but this feels like the game the Broncos actually break out in. Only when things can't seem any more bleak and everyone assumes the worst is when they break out a decent performance. They can't sustain that for more than a week probably but this is the one where things should just click and they take advantage of a less talented team that has its own issues to deal with. I mean really when its news they gave the team Thanksgiving off and it caused people to lose it, you just know its hit bottom.

Since Feldman and McMurphy is talking about it, I'm thinking it's close.

Hiring Prime also means his son will also follow (fingers crossed) and he's legit and won't be another Cody Hawkins.

But it's CU, they'll f*** it up and probably end up with Troy Calhoun.

Hi Crazy,

Yeah but I've been thinking that very same thing the past 6 weeks and it hasn't gotten any better. I think it's going to be another close game but they'll find a way to f*** it up again.

Given that USC and UCLA are leaving the Pac12 how is that going to impact the remaining schools ability to recruit?
Colorado is a fine job. It’s a stepping stone job to a top 8 program.

Depends, at the end of the day, I believe Oregon/Washington go to Big10 as well. CU, Utah, AZ and ASU going to Big12. No way Pac-12 survives, even if they did, think they'll become G5 anyways.

That said, the sport is becoming SEC vs. B1G, aka ESPN vs. Fox.

IMO every CFB job is a stepping stone job other than maybe 2 or 3?

CU's problem is that Colorado is a wasteland for high school talent. Can't be competitive just keeping kids in state they still have to go get close to half the roster from other states. Big 12 would be helpful for CU in that they would get back to playing in Texas and the Midwest where they can sell the experience. Competing on those in California has been too difficult especially with Utah coming along and picking up a lot of the secondary targets who weren't going to the LA schools.

In any case I think a lot of the arguments about recruiting are off base. Yeah kids want to be on TV but its not as bad as they make it out to be. IF the Pac12 gets more distribution, even at a lower price, its not even an issue any longer. Its just as mentioned this is ESPN vs Fox overpaying for content. There's no way schools like Rutgers or Iowa or Mississippi State deserve the massive TV money they get relative to the eyeballs they attract to these broadcasts. The fact that USC or UCLA have to chase money and leave for a nonsense combination just shows its out of hand. Once we get a 12 or 16 team playoff, conference affiliation won't matter, it will just be about that TV share and someday the big networks are going to have to admit they can't afford the crazy amounts they are paying, especially in an age of cord cutting. If they are forced to compete on how many straight up subscriptions they sell without cable companies forcing content onto viewers people are going to realize its a massive overpay to most of the schools.
