Barton needed to go, so that is good. I liked Morris coming off the bench, but we can't afford to pay what we will eventually want.

All the whining about not paying Connelly seems to have gone away. People can quibble with the exact value of the trades, but Booth was put into a pretty tight set of constraints due to the cap and pretty much filled the needs anyways. Bench isn't great, but man those 5 starters, if healthy, have no excuse now. Feels like a lucky season with fewer than expected injuries is due, especially with injury magnet Barton gone. If they stay healthy I think this is your #1 West seed and then we'll see what they get done in the playoffs.

Avs just won the Cup, Broncos got Wilson and the Nugs starting 5 looks really good. Fun time to be a sports fan in Denver….unless you are baseball fan.
or CU

They're f***ed with USC and UCLA going to Big10.

Still not sold on MPJ at all but at this point they made their bed, he’d better deliver.

Otherwise I really like the moves made. I liked Barton and reportedly he played a big part in shaping the Nuggets’ culture (also good friends with Jokic) but something had to change.

Peyton Watson already looks completely clueless in the summer games
Good chance he busts but there was almost no way he was going to be playing real minutes on the NBA squad this year. He barely could handle the NCAA last year. Definitely one of those weird betting on an athlete and not a current basketball player.

I really don't know what else the Nuggets could do though. Can't really trade injured goods and no way he would have accepted less money. Consider this a bet on medical science as represented by his doctors. If he plays as well as he did before they can trade him or keep him.

Let's go Min Woo Lee!!!
My money is on Cam Smith this weekend. A guy who is as well rounded as he is and an excellent putter on greens the size of Rhode Island... I think this is his to lose.

(Can't help but cheer for Tiger and Rory though)

Yep. I threw money on Cam. I also threw a flyer on JT and Min Woo. $20 to win $2k ain't bad. Ya never know!!

I get it, they committed max money to him and there's no way around it now, I still just don't like the player or the person.

So happy for Theegala making noise. Guy is a ton of fun to watch and hope we get a lot of coverage of him over the next two days.

Yeah, agree with the Theegala praise. Seems like a character
Oh yeah, he certainly is. Might be the single most creative golfer in the game today... plus he has immense talent. Dude will win a couple majors in time. I really hope he's in a featured pairing tomorrow, just such a joy to watch and on a links course... drooling at even the thought.

Honestly hilarious that the future of the 68-94 Rockies look like this

Ugh Rory. I knew he needed to get to -20 and just couldn’t make a putt all day.

I bet he wishes he was a bit more aggressive into some of the pins. Letting 14 go by hurt.

Matt Holliday's son just went 1st overall in the MLB draft.

Yes, you're old! Not me, I'm still young!
