Who is the GM of nuggets? or Who's running the show?
On the upside: no soccer hooligans in town.Seriously hard to believe Kansas City gets World Cup games over Denver. I mean were these people paying attention when going out to Arrowhead? Yeah the world wants to see games in old stadiums in places with zero transit and nothing to do before games other than tailgate. Not to mention KC's airport sucks ass, good luck getting a seat on a flight in there during the tournament without paying an arm and a leg FIFA.
Leave it to FIFA to make the most insane decisions ever. Well insane until 2 years later you find out they were bribed.

I mean it’s FIFA? Bribery is one of the least surprising things ever in regards to them.Seriously hard to believe Kansas City gets World Cup games over Denver. You want a shitty airport, try Houston.
This is a global tournament and the idea was to put teams in different stadiums and areas where they could draw domestic and international tourists to. Not saying Denver is the greatest city, but in comparison to KC it's a bigger city with more to draw visitors in. Not to mention summer weather comparisons aren't even fair, have fun playing in that potential oven. As for the airport, of course you have few problems going through KCI, its a small airport with about 1/8 the passenger traffic. KC's international routes are basically Cancun and maybe Canada. The teams can fly in on their private charters, but what about the fans? Many probably are going to connect in Denver to get there.I think you’re selling KC a little short, bro. It’s a great city. Admittedly Arrowhead is not exactly close to the Power & Light District, but there should be plenty to do nearby.
And I’ve had WAY more issues in DIA than I’ve ever had going through KCI, and I actually like DIA. You want a shitty airport, try Houston.

I am pretty sure that FIFA can't even find Colorado on the map. This is a global tournament and the idea was to put teams in different stadiums and areas where they could draw domestic and international tourists to. But it was all a FIFA decision and we know what makes FIFA tick.
They can find it. It's the place that wouldn't repeal sales tax on tickets apparently. Seriously that's what makes you pick a city?I am pretty sure that FIFA can't even find Colorado on the map.
I dont know much about nba draft prospects but I like the boom or bust top 10 potential of the pick @30What did we think of the Nuggets draft haul? I’m hearing a lot of good things about the guy they got outta Kansas.
He can gaurd Gaurds, something the Nuggs couldn't do last year. He's probably not as good of scorer as Barton but much more consistent. What’s a KCP and how good is he?
I don’t watch much Nugs, but I’d assume they don’t need the scoring in that position as much as the defense. From what I’ve seen at least. He can gaurd Gaurds, something the Nuggs couldn't do last year. He's probably not as good of scorer as Barton but much more consistent.
Fantastic trade. Barton had value only when other players were hurt or resting. KCP is exactly what they needed, pure 3 and D. Monte is due a big raise down the road and the Nuggets weren't going to pay it so as long as the starters stay healthy this was a great sell high move. If the starters are not healthy well it doesn't really matter, they aren't going to do well in the playoffs anyways.Nuggets trade Will Barton and Monte Morris for Wizards’ Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Ish Smith, sources say
The Nuggets are finalizing a trade to send Will Barton and Monte Morris to Washington in exchange for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Ish Smith, sources confirmed to The Denver Post.www.denverpost.com
Wow. Monte and Thrill on their way out.
Yeah if Murray and MPJ are healthy and able to play all year then we need a defensive gaurd to compliment them. But if those guys go down again the Nuggs will be in a worse spot that last year.I don’t watch much Nugs, but I’d assume they don’t need the scoring in that position as much as the defense.
