With how much they're focused on penetrating and the gaps they attack, Wade's 3-4 is basically the same 4-3under that you guys used to run with Von.

Anyone concerned this is a little too much of bringing the band back together? I guess that's the way things are these days though.

Not at all. Kubiak OCed the best offenses the Broncos have ever had and also elite among elite when it comes to offenses in NFL history. I'm talking about 97 & 98. Someone like Elway appreciates the balance of those teams. They had HOFers in the passing game but it was running game that really was their meal ticket. Even though the 13 Broncos set a lot of records during the regular season, their scoring dropped of against better teams in the playoffs and were ultimately to pass happy vs the Seahawks. If the 13 Broncos would have been more balanced, they likely wouldn't have scored as many pts in the regular season but would have likely been able to score more in the playoffs during their SB run. And against the Seahawks, having a running game that demanded respect, would have made the Seahawks defense vulnerable. But since the Broncos were so one dimensional and relied too heavily on Manning, it made the Broncos offense vulnerable. Both Elway and Kubiak have been down that road before.

I'm not sure why people scrutinize this so much. Their aversion to nostalgia and cronyism prevents them from seeing or appreciating how qualified Kubiak is. I think some people are in love with a new idea. But apparently these people didn't learn from the Josh McDaniels experience. Just because he doesn't represent a new idea (at least in the mind of some), that doesn't mean he's not easily the most qualified guy, which he easily is. And people shouldn't feel guilty for allowing themselves to also have a nostalgic appreciation.

You know, I'm really just not terribly excited about these coaching changes. Not sure why. Maybe just disappointing season hangover or something….

I think Studesville is really solid, and considering that awful situtation with his family a year or two ago, I'm glad he didn't get canned. That said, I would still LOVE to see Bobby Turner here in some capacity.

Not to mention his interim term after McDaniels got the axe.

The Rockies were 10th in attendance last year despite losing 96 games. They're not going anywhere.

This is Denver. If you put it on a field/court/rink, people will come watch.

Meh. It seems the ballpark has scares crowds much if the time I watch. I remember in 93 when they set the expansion attendance record half way through the season. In contrast to that, the attendance seems like it's really down. I guess tickets sold doesn't always mean full ball park.

It is a bit shocking to see how far Gase has fallen. From being one of the hot HC candidates to praying Fox will hire him to babysit Cutler.

A lot of that is because of the ballpark. Not the team on the field.

So according to Chris Mortensen, 11 of New England's footballs were found to be underinflated by 2 lbs...

I'm wondering how a LB, who doesn't touch the ball all that often, notices but the Referees/Officials, who handle it far more often, do not?

***EDIT***

Apparently, I'm not the only one who finds it a bit odd:

Does it not seem weird to anyone else that the guy who reported the under-inflated balls to the officials was a linebacker?
