Who likes watching baseball when it's 35 or 40 degrees, sleeting, snowing, raining, etc? Baseball is a warm weather sport. Always has been. Playing it in those conditions is a disadvantage to those teams, as well as miserable for the fans. I literally don't even think of attending a Sox game until mid May at the earliest, and I really don't wanna go to a game past mid September. IDK if I'd even want to go to a cold ass October night playoff game at this point.
I have fond memories of Cubs opening days during middle and high school. Missed school with parental consent.

A 20 yr old amateur, Nick Dunlap (soph at Ala) won the PGA tourney this weekend. The field was full of notables and not some off the cuff secondary event. First time an amateur won on tour since Mickelson 33 years ago in1991. Dunlap had to make a 6' par putt on #18 to seal the victory.

There's basically been a sports-wide franchise price inflation ever since Ballmer paid a ridiculous amount for the Clippers a few years back.

Corbin Burnes to the Orioles for Joey Ortiz, DL Hall and the 34th pick.

Feels a little light, imo, BUT.....Burnes has regressed since winning the Cy Young a few years ago, so maybe this is the appropiate valube. The deal being a win for the Brewers is based on DL Hall. If Hall can developed into a TOR starter, then easy win.
