I have fond memories of Cubs opening days during middle and high school. Missed school with parental consent.Who likes watching baseball when it's 35 or 40 degrees, sleeting, snowing, raining, etc? Baseball is a warm weather sport. Always has been. Playing it in those conditions is a disadvantage to those teams, as well as miserable for the fans. I literally don't even think of attending a Sox game until mid May at the earliest, and I really don't wanna go to a game past mid September. IDK if I'd even want to go to a cold ass October night playoff game at this point.
