Have the Sox won a playoff series since 2005? I don't think they have. Talk about an inefficient use of tax payer dollars, why should we be on the hook for $1B to build a stadium for a historically incompetent franchise.

The Sox lost their biggest deflection point, that at least they had won two World Series since the Cubs had won, but now the reality is that other than 2005 the Sox haven't won a playoff series since 1917.

Cubs, for sure, had the longer drought, but there's really no arguing that the Sox have to be looked at as the least accomplished team to have won a championship in living memory. Over a century and any semblance of postseason success of any kind is limited to a single year. Even recognizing that the postseason has had more than one series "only" since 1969, that's pretty shockingly pathetic.

Cubs were garbage under the Tribune. Thankfully for them, they moved on. But the Sox are still stuck with their early 80s owner, their Ricketts hasn't arrived yet.

Camps are about to open, and Anderson is unsigned.

Looks like the rest of league saw his decline, lack of effort and the other stuff and have stayed away

Reports are Marlins are kicking tires

The Bears are the 7th richest franchise in the world in any sport and are too cheap to sign a FA QB.
Are you talking franchise value? Because the McCaskey's have long been known as one of the cash poorest sports owners in North America. But in any event, I'm not sure which expensive free agent QB was available that they passed on?

Ricketts lost all interest after 2016. Cubs are an afterthought to his real estate development.

Top 5 revenue team in all of baseball and you're going to sit here and tell me we need more revenue to spend when you sit there and try and buy Chelsea for billions and want to invest in the PGA, etc.

I can't tell you how fast that makes me not give a shit about the team. As we f***ing garbage pick trying to "win a division" in one of the weakest divisions in baseball losing to a team with a leaking roof and sells their tickets at 7/11. I cannot tell you enough how much I do not give a flying f*** about the Cubs.

You can change players, you can change managers, Presidents, etc. Shitty owners are the absolute worst. There are definitely worse owners than Ricketts, even in Chicago, but comments like that drive me away so fast.
