He intentionally threw twice at an opposing batter, missing once. The idea that it was weakly thrown is a justification is nonsensical to me.
Especially for a completely fluke accident.
Yeah, if it was the first time… whatever. I think throwing at players is dumb as hell, but whatever. "Part of the game."
But yeah, doing it two times in a row. Clearly intentional. I don't really care if he threw a change-up... you deserve to be ejected. It's stupid.
And like.. what are we doing throwing at players for what was clearly an accident? What exactly is being accomplished?
Happ and the former Cubs player hugged it out. Why does there need to be retaliation? Baseball players are such meatheads sometimes.
