Luis Robert got injured while participating in the home run derby and is now out of the All-Star game and it’s unknown when he’ll be back.

I’m shocked.

Only the white sox does this kinda thing happen to. And it just keeps on happening. One piece of bad/disappointing news after another. Endlessly.

Their training and conditioning staff continues to be the worst in baseball... Only Sox players get injured in the f***ing HR derby.

As opposed to the knobs running the spring football leagues, the Arena Football League relaunch isn't inexplicably avoiding the third largest market in the country.

I'd be okay if they moved on from the Rush name, though.

So what happened to tge White Sox vaunted Latin American scout who was supposed to be special in getting talent from the Latin American region to the Sox?

Should have shown up with a dominant DSL team ..but after losing tgeir lsst 2 games by a combined score of 17-4,their record is now 4 games under. 500 at 14-18 ...compare to tge again deep excellent Dodger scouts who have stocked 2 DSL squads both with great records (27-6 and 20-11) and that is a combined 47-17 record in 64 GP..

This shows that the Sox are scoutsxare compared to what tge Dodgers organization keeps doing to stock their deep excellent farm system.in finding talent.

The Sox literally do nothing well as an organization. Hopefully that will change when Reinsdorf croaks.

I said when the he was named President of Baseball Ops that Jed Hoyer was a bad hire.

It's just not been good enough under him.
Lol wat?

He got rid of all of Theos bad money, got actual value for rentals, rebuilt the farm system, put a greater emphasis on developing pitching, and has spent wisely on free agents.

Jed isn't the problem. The problem is the manager.

The team sucks and managers are the most overrated position in baseball. Glorified best friend. Ownership is the real problem at Wrigley.

If that's the case the complete meltdown over Larussa here was just pettiness?

If you don't think the stupidity of Ross is the main reason why the Cubs lost at least 10 games this year I have a bridge to sell you, cheap.

MLB trade deadline coming up and only a few pieces on Sox likely to have any value or interest

Lucas Giolito

6-6
3.96 ERA
116 IP
122 K's

Bargain bin hunting could see teams interested in Clevinger as he is set to return from injury soon

3-4
3.88 ERA
62.2 IP
53K's

I am hopeful that Kopech is finally sent backing but since he has team control thru 2025 its unlikely he is traded

4-8
4.29 ERA
92.1 IP
102 K's

Sox have been telling teams Vaughn, Cease, Robert and Jimenez are not available so that is the core 4 they intend to try and build around going forward.

Pretty sure no one will give anything of value for Grandal, Anderson, Moncada or Lynn at this point

Reynaldo Lopez (4.50 ERA), Graveman (3.00 ERA) and Middleton (3.41 ERA) may get some interest as pen arms.
