What the heck are Blazers going to get for Lillard's contract with the new NBA luxury tax / 2nd apron? Lillard still has a little less than $220mn left on his 4 year contract. He's currently 33. Small guards tend to drop off the cliff with age. Yes, it's averages to something like $53mn+ per year. LOL.

I guess Miami can trade Herro and an expiring ... but I don't think the Blazers get much more.

The Bulls have the Blazer first round pick in '25. It is lottery protected. The Bulls might be waiting 4-5 years before getting that pick.

The Blazers just signed 29 year old Jerami Grant for $160mn for 5 years. Why?

They're never getting that pick. They will get the 2028 2nd that it converts to when the protection runs out.
 
Ross needs to be fired.

It's debatable who the worst manager is in chicago.

If the Cubs or Sox had a legend like LaRussa, they would be in first place.

The only silver lining in the WhitexDox awful demise this season is that they will be drafting high in each round of the 2024 MLB draft next year ..

I was going to buy the 2nd half of the MLB baseball tv package after switching from Rogers Cabke to Bell Fibre TV because my condo's contract with Rogers ended Junece9th and a new contract with Bell started July 1st and so I had to cancel Rogers COLE including the extra subscription I paid for Rogers Suoer Sports Pak which included all MLB games ...but not I cannot see the valueof watching more stinky WhiteSox losses ofca lousy team..So I guess I will save some money notcwatcjong MLB goes except for Blue Jays games covered here in Canada on Sportsnet..

However I will subscribe to NHL Cebter Ice so tgat I can watch the Hawks this season ...even though they still shoukd stink defensively with the crappy right side dmen we have....but ,at least theoffense looks more talented with Bedard Reichel and Hall (we hope)...so tge games shoukd be bit more entertaining .Maybe Hawks finish 7th or 8th worst? But if Mrazek has a suoer bad season for the 50 or so games he will play then maybe just maybe they still finish bottom3 or 4th worst and have another good shot at Celebrinni /C or or Levshunov./RD?
