The big question on the new rukes changes for MLB in 2023 is:

Does this help or hurt thee White Sox given their hitters styles?Akso does it help or hurt which pitchers on the White Sox?

Which pitchers can thrive with faster pitch intervals and which will have most trouble adjusting?

My guess is that it helps Cease who will thrive and probably helps Cueto...Notcsure on Lynn...peobly Giolitovand Kopech get even more messed up under toghrer pitch intervals.

Will the infield rule changes affect base stealing? Make sure it harder or easier to steal if infielders restricted to 2 each on each side of 2nd base?
Larger bags makebitceasier to steal by getting to bigger bag surface a fraction earlier ..

Less clog on the pull sides so of hitters comtinue to pull should help them get mote hots through..but if they try going the other way then 2 fielddrs back on tgat side in the infield.

Putting in the ruke the infielders must not be on the grass means they cannot cut off as many balls or get to as manynpip ups that go to shallow outfield...this alone shoukdcresukt in a lot more hits getting through.

I likectgecrukevchanges but enforcement if exact time infractions policing is going to be very tricky.A lit of different clocks mo Ving at once...goi g to be co fusion and controversy resulting in more delays from video review....So tge click infractions coukd slow down not speed up the game if too many reviews needed.

In typical sox fashion, they score a bunch of runs last night only to get embarrassed by a bad pitcher tonight.

Wow….the Sox with one of the most impressive wins of their season tonight. Epic comeback!

Well Sox are 8-2in last 10 and now in 2nd place only 1.5 back of Cleveland...

Won last night despite historic Moncada going back to usual 0 force and Abreu also doing nothing.. Vaughan has not been producing a lot over these last 10 games either and last night he only was 1 force..

So tge Co tinting important contributions by Elvis and Rome are very interesting and encouraging...Tge Ss and 2B combo are both doing it in tge field and at tge plate with key production... You wonder if Anderson coming back will destroy what seemscto be excellent in the middle infield?

Also looking soon is the harbinger of death as TLR will resume hos Manger role ...so expect a nosedive once that happens.

Hell of a game by Sox thus far

7-0 in bottom of 4th

Andrus with yet another HR (A 3 run shot) and Lynn continues to find his groove after injury derailed much of his year

While people are focusing on TLR absence as "Reason for improved play" having a SS who isn't a disaster in field and is coming up with clutch hits may be biggest thing in this turnaround

And Harrison continues to struggle in field with yet another error, ugh a near perfect game suddenly with negative

That's actually a good point. As much as Moncada has frustrated most of us, he plays very good defense. And now with TA out and Andrus giving the Sox better defense at SS, the Sox have a very above average left side of the infield for defense, which is nice for a change.

Notre Dame hate is funny to me. I'm as south side Irish as it gets, but that loyalty is just absent in anyone I know under forty.
It was never the fandom for me, it’s the program itself. Always projected an air of entitlement. An entitlement to rankings, an entitlement to bowl games, and entitlement to recruits…

Hated ND as a kid. Don't really care about them anymore, as college football has become primarily a betting focused sport for me. But it's still funny to see them terrible, even when I was holding them -19.5.

Maybe if I cared more about college football I'd see it but it just reads like people still hating the Islanders because they were good in the eighties to somebody completely indifferent about them.

I guess I can see laughing at the Leafs failing every year because of the fan base angle though.
