Bulls got payback from Atl who beat them with 0.5 sec left in their last meeting. Last night, Ayo got an offensive rebound and put it back in leaving no time on the clock and the Bulls a winner in Atl.

I think $177M of pitching would have helped the Cubs more.
Who would’ve they gotten?

Could have landed a big fish

Chris Bassitt (3 yrs/$66M with Blue Jays)

Or these guys who were good potential targets of high ceiling with affordable costs

Noah Syndergaard (1 yr/$13M with Dodgers)
Ross Stripling (2 yrs/$25M with Giants)
Jose Quintana (2 yrs/$26M with Mets)

Those 4 combined cost only $130M

The Cubs should have spent more isn't an argument Cubs fans make.
