It's the second worst infidelity I've heard about this year (noone will touch Gerald Pique cheating on Shakira).

Hmm.. ok scratch that. Maybe third worst on whatever the hell Adam Levine was doing.
 
Going to the Illini game versus Chattanooga tonight, and just realized that this is the first sporting event of any kind that I've attended since 2019.

Unreal.

I think we're at the point now where we can start to have off-season thoughts. The immediate one is - basically all coaches and front office personal deserve to lose their job after this debacle of a season. Maybe except Ethan Katz - but even with him, it's not like there haven't been negatives. But I would be surprised. Reinsdorf's loyalty to his under-performing employees far exceeds any loyalty he has towards his fanbase.
 
(Just an old man’s opinion) clearly the vast majority of those on this board (who post) are White Sox fans. Going back several pages they get 2/3 to 3/4 of the posts.
By rough count there are 7 pro teams and at least a few minor/college teams to use this thread on.
Again just an opinion but the White Sox should be made men (along with the Bears) and whenever “Other Sports 81” is created a separate White Sox thread should be created as well.

Cubs fans haven't had anything interesting to talk about all year.

Cubs are mid-tank. There’s just not really anything to talk about.

Hey, we won again! We’re above twenty below .500, wahoo.

Cubs talk dominated 2014-2017 or so in these topics. Hawks and Bears are the only evergreen points of conversation on the sports landscape on account of this being a hockey board and the NFL being king.
 
Man, Mizzou had a couple gutchecks at the end there to lose it to Auburn.

Thankfully, I'm an Illini fan, so I'm okay with a bunch of disappointed boys and girls down in Columbia, MO.

Alot of people scoffed at Cards when they brought him back because they said he was done

I felt he could still offer value as situational player and DH and he has proven it this year

Good for him

One of the finest players to ever play game. It's a shame he left Cards to go to Angels.

The only blemish on his career
