Missed his 2nd game but still His ERA in AAA was near 6

And his recent ML history has not been great

I am hopeful and expect he will be better than Velasquez and be ok #5 option hopefully for Sox this year but it still doesn't change fact our #5 situation going forward when Lynn comes back will still be big ? and concern as season goes along

We also have to hope Lynn we get back is same Lynn as last year

Why the f*** are you talking about the AAA ERA of a guy who has started two games for the Sox, has 12 strikeouts, 4 walks, 8 hits, and ZERO EARNED RUNS in 12 innings. And has looked great by every observable metric? You really are a f***ing insufferable poster by all standards.

To be fair….who really has a stud as their #5 starter? Most teams #5 starters aren’t that good. Cueto will do just fine as a #5. He’s looked great so far.

Right when it seemed like things were gonna go our way now Robert will be out for a while with COVID. Unreal. We can’t catch a break. Worst possible player to lose when we need to get our offense going against a red hot Boston team. #cursed

Currently also havent had a baserunner. Really need to get the offense going at some point.

And you thought you would get an evening of entertainment from the White Sox.. at home...embarrassed inatead Cease was in deceased mode ..and?Ruin adds another government ball out of thecyard
..mightxa welk watch sonething else unless you were tgecsuckers who went to this MLB "competion".. 1 sided farce that was over so early. Igh!

Sox gonna give up over 20 runs tonight. Book it. An unbelievably deflating loss of epic proportions. All the positive momentum from the weekend is washed away in an instant.

8-0 and Red Sox have bases loaded

This is game you just let the crap in bullpen finish out

And an awful throw by Pollack to home and its 9-0 Red Sox

Pollack has a weak and inaccurate arm for a guy who has been OF his entire professional career. Playing in LF and that shallow fly should have been easy for him to get home accurately

I am no technical baseball expert..but itcseems to me tgat Cease is way off balance after his release...he is not landing with his fot straight on or even 1 foit on the ground at tge mark point most pitchers land at...This I think throws off his accuracy...he did notbout pitches where Grandal wanted it to go.

I think tgey need to correct this problem as a technical issue rather than grasping at tge okd tipping off hisvpitches excuse..

Even if he also tipped off his pitches he is not landing solidly planted and ready if any balks hit back to him. Nor is his accuracy alk that good...yes when he cam get his fastball past hitters he can srrijevthennout..but he woukd be more In Command more often if he lands solidly on his feet ratger than so much off balance after release....just something I have noticed even when hechad his betstxstuff in other games. I knewxthusxwoukdceventaukky hurt his accuracy.

As for Gavin Sheets ...I notice he always wiggles his bat and gets caught in tgat motion even as pitches come to the plate.. I think he coukd benefit from just calming the waggle down and resting the bat on his shoulder before the pitcher releases...I notice a lot of good hitters do this ...So I think he coukd probably make more contact if his bat was "ready" not still in wiggling motion as theboutch nears the plate.. He simply is not set right for the itches cl ing k him..

What can it hurt to try calling down his waggle of the bat ?He is so strong that better batbon balk contact should produce more hits and more Homer's instead of swings and misses .

Again. I an mot an expert ...but I noticed what I think are flaws for Cease and for Sheets Iin their techniques used in in their respective crafts...

Bryant back on the IR list for Colorado for the 2nd time this season. I hope Cubs fans understand why these players were not resigned....

PGA Championship was a great weekend of golf to watch. JT pulls out the win (I am a JT fan).
As much as I was alright with JT winning, couldn't help but feel sorry for M Pereira. Would have liked to have seen him at least make the playoff. He played so well for three days only to fall apart on #18.

Sox batting concerns Still a problem ...Abreu Moncafa Grandal and Pollock ...poor battibgcavwrages AND no power...

Abreu batging .229 ...on pCe for justv80 RBI and justc29bhomers...gotta get hot or else Sox goibg tovsuffer in runs all year..

Moncada a shell of the pkayer he was a few years ago...can hardly make contact...power down ..nevercrecovered tobfill hitingcablultycafter his Covod..

Pollock numbers hugely off what he did in L.A.....Lousy batting...littl poer...

None of these guys even using sac Flys when they get a chance to drive guys on 3rd in..

IT'S all horrible and so Sox havectobrelyvon goid pitching to win lower run games.

TgecSox home scoreboard is Not exploding enough likecexpectrd..

Please do not blame it on the basebalksxtheycarecusing this year...Does notcexpkain why the opps can lead WhitexSox in Homer's at Guaranteed Tate Field...too many Sox batters relied on for power and dribingbi runs are just failing in too many crucial situations with men on opportunities..

It is pathetic.
