Levine was on ITC this morning saying that they're going to go for it now but there are big changes coming this winter.Idc if they have to sell low, moncada (and to a lesser extent) grandal need to be gone. They dont stay on the field and theyre trash when they play. Grandal might be the worst catcher in baseball and hes not hitting at all.
I'm not sure Bruce Levine has much of a scoop on White Sox doings. But if he did, hopefully this would start with front office and coaching changes, and then move on to the players from there. I no longer trust Kenny Williams or Rick Hahn with roster decisions.Levine was on ITC this morning saying that they're going to go for it now but there are big changes coming this winter.
Both shouldn't have been allowed to lead this rebuild. The failure of 2013-16 should have been enough to cost them their jobs.I'm not sure Bruce Levine has much of a scoop on White Sox doings. I'll be honest, I liked Rick Hahn for most of this rebuild. In hindsight I was probably wrong. Both shouldn't have been allowed to lead this rebuild. The failure of 2013-16 should have been enough to cost them their jobs.
He got a free pass for wasting Chris Sale's prime. That's a fireable offense in and of itself.I'll be honest, I liked Rick Hahn for most of this rebuild. In hindsight I was probably wrong.
It takes more than one great player to make a good team. The free pass probably better points at the Shields trade. As bad as some of the moves (or lack of moves) have been the last few years, he can never top that one.He got a free pass for wasting Chris Sale's prime. That's a fireable offense in and of itself.
I liked the trades he made when he blew it up. The fact remains that he shouldn't have been allowed to lead that.
Cease is incredible.
But the Sox as a team still aren’t fooling me with this recent 2 game win “streak”. They have a long way to go to get back into the serious contender discussion. I just don’t trust them, at least not yet. Again though….Cease is having a remarkable season individually, and he would be the Cy Young front runner if his team was doing better.
Cease is not even in the same league as McClanahan. Not even close.
Even arguable that Verlander is having a slightly better season than Cease.
I mean cease has a better era and more k's than mcclanahanCease is not even in the same league as McClanahan. Not even close.

Funny you say that on a day that McClanahan got rocked. Yes Cease is in every pitcher's league.Cease is not even in the same league as McClanahan. Not even close.

You made a bad post. Just own it and move on. We've all done it.Isn’t Verlander having a better season than Cease in every category other than strikeouts?
But yeah Cease is the front runner if on a better team. Let’s see him throw even 170 innings before calling him the front runner of anything.

And since you haven't paid attention to Cease this year, here's something for you.

Fair enough, but a close third. His walks earlier in the season are what set him behind Verlander and McClanahan probably.I never said Cease isn’t having a great season. He absolutely is.
I would not consider him the front runner for the Cy Young award at this point. I’d put him third.
Yeah I think that Jerry and Kenny are pulling the strings. Hahn is just a puppet.Hahahahahahaha
You still think Hahn has any say in what happens?
Hahahahahahaha

I mean people were shitting on pace and garpax for yearsThe go excuse of "KW is all powerful" when reality is he is merely a figurehead at this point
This mess is on Hahn and his woeful performance at building roster
It's amazing the unwillingness to hold GMs accountable in Chicago and constant looking for an excuse to not hold them accountable
