Lt Dan
F*** your ice cream!
The Rams are so much fun to watch.
And how do you not love Cooper "All time leading Rams receiver" Kupp?
The Rams had quite a comeback. OBJ came up big on the final drive.
And then from the WTF department...
Antonio Brown just checks out and is gone near the end of the 3rd..

Maybe Brown's agent should get him evaluated by a doctor.Let’s be honest, these issues likely have very little to do with intelligence or attitude. But a much more serious issue the NFL would rather not have to talk about in public.

Antonio Brown needed:
8 more catches to unlock a $333,333 bonus.
He also needed 55 receiving yards to unlock another $333,333 bonus.
He also needed just 1 receiving TD to unlock another $333,333 bonus.
Uh, Tom Brady was his QB. I am pretty sure @LT Dan, or I could do that playing with Tom Brady.
Antonio Brown's status has been upgraded from dumbass to dumb f***.

I am sure this is exactly what happenedI guess he didn't like being the 3rd option on the previous drive so he said,
"How can I get my bonuses like this... f-it, I'm out" [probably true]
It's possible Brown does have CTE. Brown is aware that he has had at least one severe concussion from the Burfict hit.Have they figured out a way to test for CTE before death yet?

Maybe the answer is to outlaw football, hockey, boxing, MMA, etc., essentially all contact sports.
Difficulty with speech, memory and behavior may be signs of CTE
I think it may be wise for the NFLPA to set up some type of guidance or referral program for players who have been concussed, or once their career reaches a certain point in time to discuss risk involved with continuing to play.I think it’s more than possible. But Browns stuff has been less severe so we mock (myself included). But if you compare to something like Griffin’s issues In Minnesota which are likely both symptoms of the same issue. The mocking stops, because that is very scary stuff he is dealing with.
I honestly don’t know the answer. As these are adults making their own choices. Does the NFL/Pa need to set up funds to monitor and track these issues? Provide support pre/post playing career? Is it even in their best interest to study this stuff? I mean look at big tobacco and how much trouble they got in cause they “knew”. Is ignorance the best defense?

I have never seen studies on players in rugby, or Australian rules football on this subject. It would be interesting since they don't wear hard helmets when they play.
So you get a high impact hit in coverage without helmets and now you got fractured skulls and brain trauma anyway. Or is the assumption that the players would avoid such contact? There’s a strong argument that helmets in football lead to more concussions. Worth a read:
Helmets don't eliminate concussions. It's time for the NFL to ditch them
The assumption is players would definitely avoid such contact. You're not going to lead with your head on a tackle, if you don't have a helmet. So you get a high impact hit in coverage without helmets and now you got fractured skulls and brain trauma anyway. You'll lead with your shoulder and hit your head sometimes. The driving your helmet against the ball thing was definitely a problem, but that's just one instance of concussions happening in the game. You see plenty more happen when someone gets kneed in the pile and the pile doesn't go away without helmets. The assumption is players would definitely avoid such contact. You're not going to lead with your head on a tackle, if you don't have a helmet.
And the SEC keeps expanding too, which is pretty funny itself.Oh, and yeah, I checked out of college football for the most part after USC's sanctions and subsequent fall, the Pac-10/12 was never the same really and it seems like the SEC has almost completely centralized all the talent with a few notable exceptions (for the present company haha).
Almost all head contacts with the ground which cause concussions are to the back of the head. You can design equipment to lessen the impact of those blows from the ground to the back of the head. The ground won't change the way it hits just because the players aren't wearing helmets.
