They haven't won a championship in a real season yet, so maybe they should give me a call. I'd do it for a modest consulting fee too. That’s news to the Dodgers when they paid him $17m to be the #3 in the rotation. It’s too bad Friedman didn’t have you there to save him the time and effort.
In game 7 of the world series would you sit Kershaw at this point?Significantly more rare than 7 perfect innings.
Significantly more rare than UCL injuries.
He didn't just need "one more pitch"
It would have been 20 minutes waiting in the dugout trying to keep the arm warm while the Dodgers batted in the 8th. Then going out and throwing warm up pitches, then having to get 3 more guys out, then 20 more minutes in the dugout, then more warm up pitches, then 3 more guys out. All the while he's exhausted and every successive pitch is less and less effective while the injury risk rises significantly.
Look at this garbage from the trashiest fans in sports.

I think you could make an argument for the latter if the guy wasn't such a douche bag. I don't mind MLBs decision because it takes the pressure off the team, let the league deal with the consequences. The whole Bauer thing is bizarre. I have no dog in this fighter -- i'm not a baseball fan at all. But makes no sense at all. Let alone compared to other (worse) prior suspensions.
Either MLB has something very, VERY bad on him that hasn't come out;
or it's a witch hunt against Bauer by MLB (with his outspokenness, fierce fighting of this, beat-to-his-own-drum attitude, etc.).
Almost seems like the latter. But wow, that's gonna cost MLB a heck of a lot of money down the road in a lawsuit by Bauer.
The former Cleveland Indians. There's a baseball team called Guardians?
Never heard of them.

I never heard of them.Trying to figure out if you never heard the news or just another anti-name change protestor
I never heard of them.
Baseball is kind of dead in my circles. I never hear anything about it. No one talks about it. I didn't even know the season started.
Guardians is a terrible name straight up. Could've come up with so many better options. Commanders I think is alright, although I think it would've been cool to have kept Washington Football Team.
It was so generic and bland, that it was ironically kind of cool.Washington should have kept Washington Football Club.
Don't follow baseball much till Ohtani blew up a bit last year. But I actually had no idea Cleveland changed their name. Agree not big on Guardians. Heck why not just name them the Avengers. But was Indians really that bad. Isn't it paying homage to the natives. I had no problem with Indians or was the woke mob too much to overcome.
The Jazz used to be the New Orleans Jazz, they just never changed the name after the move.I do kind of agree that the names will eventually catch up and be accepted. If you have the Jazz in Salt Lake City and the Lakers in Los Angeles you can name any team anything.
Washington should have kept Washington Football Club.
