I could see him taking a minimal amount less if he had a ring in tow, but yeah, he's not taking 20-30M less to come to Chicago of all places. We already know that to be fact.

I'd easily go Kershaw No. 1, but yeah, I go Sale No. 2. They are very similar. Kershaw has done it longer. King Felix No. 3. Lefties before righties all things being equal.

You probably have 3 pitchers very close for that distinction (Kershaw, Felix and Sale). I'd probably give the nod to Kershaw.

Sale is amazing though. He's our pitching version of Frank Thomas. A once in a lifetime player for Sox fans.

The numbers are so close that it is fair to say that. Not to mention, Dodger Stadium and Petco Park, and the other parks aren't exactly bam boxes either. I think Kershaw is good enough to bring those numbers to the AL though. It would be interesting to see his road interleague numbers.

Not sure what that really shows, its harder to pitch consistently well against the same teams than it is to snipe a good start once a year. The same way 1 or 2 bad starts would inflate his numbers with such a small sample size

I just don't think it is fair to say he can't be considered the best because he is in the NL. He can't control that. I mean, yeah, he could have walked and went to New York or Boston, but I can't blame a guy for staying with the team that brought him up.

Kershaw is the best in the MLB and it isn't close. Same with Felix in the AL.

And pay no attention to fans getting ticked on Twitter. There were folks mad as hell that we booted Bollig to Calgary and I wouldn't be surprised if some were mad for getting rid of Handzus. Can't make everybody happy always.
