I love beer. Scratch that. I love good beer. great beer.
A few friends of mine and myself often( once a year) drive down to Pennsylvania, Jersey +etc and spend a long weekend driving to breweries and great pubs out there(tap takeovers from breweries/distributors) that carry beer that we just can't get up here. Don't get me wrong, we have good/great beer available in NE but the selection is blown away when you start moving around.
Quick Fav list - (some u can find here, some you have to travel)
Troegs - Nugget Nectar (one of my all time favorites)
Lagunitas - little Sumpin Sumpin (yankee spirits has it, its IPA is good too)
Weyerbacher - Quad or Insanity
Southern tier - Gemini (tough to find fresh, is not bottle conditioned)
Bell's - Hopslam
Dogfish head - 120minute IPA and the only pumpkin beer I can drink - Dogifish head Punk
Founders - Oatmeal stout or Breakfast stout (best bet round here)
And for my pride and joy, its pricey and comes in a 4pack or draft (is all i have found so far) is
If this is on tap I could drink it until i'm sick. Unload and drink it again.
