GG @ACC1224 @LeafSteel , have to give respect to the Steelers org for always going out on their shield, despite any talent differences they're never an easy out and always grind out a respectable performance. Speaks to the culture they've cultivated for many decades. They refused to get their asses handed to them like the Cowboys did.

I will never forget the 13 second game. Ugh
Yeah, that was painful. McDermott's situational play calls and clock management have always been a sore point. Hopefully he's learned from those mistakes... Getting rid of Leslie Frazier probably also helps.

Still have a shot with TB dropping so many passes.

After the Eagles came off the Dallas/KC/Buf wins I really thought they would challenge SF

Frigging NFL wild card weekend at its wackiest wackiness. Houston and Cowboys games were crazy, you can’t see it coming. Shocked at the Cowboys result, thrilled as a 9er fan, but shocked.

Happy for Detroit Lions to get a win for the fans, well done, good game. They get Eagles or TB at home next week, you like their chances either way, again, happy for their fans, have fun there fellas.

Not sure if I cheer for Eagles or TB in one tomorrow. One hand, the more elite QB led teams that go out the better, so you want Hurts out as a 9er fan, one the other hand.. boy Id like to get the Eagles in the NFC championship game for a rematch.

AFC side, cheering for Steelers on same theory, want Allen out of playoffs, but Bills win feels inevitable, because KC-Bills again is what football gods demand and will get.

Bills over Steelers
Eagles over TB

SF over GB
Ravens over Houston
Lions over Eagles
KC over Bills

9ers over Lions NFC game
Ravens over KC AFC game

9ers-Ravens Super Bowl, I realize that’s not exactly a bold prediction. 9ers win, they don’t lost twice in a row to Ravens.
I see I have badly over estimated the Eagles ability to play for pride.

You and me both.

They have literally imploded as an organization. Have we seen a team go from early season dominance to late season trash in such an extreme fashion?

Eagles were barely getting by at the time and they had a ton of help from opponents making dumb mistakes (KC, DAL) and horrendous reffing gifting them a win (BUF).
Their secondary has been getting torched all year and the offense was inconsistent at times down the stretch. Seeing that on full display tonight

They aren't Dolphins level frauds, but they are frauds lol

This is pretty surprising.
I was in Tampa for the game against the Saints on the 31st and the Bucs were brutal.
Great place to watch a game though.

As an Eagles fan I agree, I saw this collapse coming for some time. Time to clean house

So ends the blowout portion of the NFL playoffs...maybe???
Maybe.

I am admittedly highly biased but I don’t see GB or the Lions (or Bucs I guess too) beating SF in SF. AFC more interesting if one were a neutral fan at this point, KC and Bills you can make a case for legit chance against Ravens.

Every rule in the book is designed to neuter defenses nowadays. That goes to show how many mediocre QB's there are in this league when they can't even run an offense in this era.

Years of not giving credit to OL has resulted in the DL being more athletic than the OL now...kids don't want to be offensive linemen anymore and it's a gap.
My issue is the number of rules that exists to either allow the NFL to avoid admitting mistakes made in the past, or to protect certain QB's at the expense of everyone else...

The Cowboys were the team that took their partner to the prom and shat all over the dance floor.

The Eagles? The Eagles fell off a f***ing cliff.
