I'm very much a fairweather Baseball fan, if the Cards aren't good I'm not interested at all, and thats just me and baseball in general.. I can do other things for 2.5-3.5 hours that's are much more enjoyable than a Baseball game, like watching Lord of the Rings.

I plan on doing my part this year. I haven’t even watched a full game yet. I can’t remember a time when I felt this indifferent about the Cards.

We're just two people but I've felt this way for a few years now. I'm heavily invested in a dynasty fantasy baseball league and I am almost always watching a different game on the MLB tv app.

I used to get pretty amped for playoffs even if I focused more on other teams during the regular season but last year, I'm pretty sure I caught maybe half of the innings in that series against the Phillies.

They're just a really difficult team to watch in my opinion. I'm a sucker for watching elite starting pitching talent and we haven't had an elite option since Jack's second half in 2018 I think it was. On top of that, the offense is fairly awful vs most right handed pitching which is essentially 3/4ths of the pitchers in baseball yet our FO has continued for 3 years running now to neglect a legitimate LH bat to even out the lineup.

It's our new strategy. Destroy a starting pitcher, get him DFAd, then pick him up for cheap because he's better than at least one of our starters.

Burleson hasn’t been hitting last week or two and O’Neill has been hitting the ball at over 1.000 OPS the last week
so Marmol plays the guy who isn’t hitting, can’t run and can’t field over the guy who is hitting now
