Be glad we lowballed Geward Gawwant or were too cheap for him or whatever you really believe happened. Or didn't wanna give him a say in personnel/management moves, which was really something that apparently came out from what I remember.

He seems like a nice enough guy, but I don't think he's a good coach. He's not particularly good.

No, he's not better than Ruff. I'm not on Team Lindy is great, but I'm on Team Gerard is not great.

I just wonder if he'll have to take a paycut on his next job? He really doesn't have much going for him to ask for $4 or $5 million a year. He gets fired too quickly everywhere he's been so far.

Some people can't control themselves. It's one thing to lurk and have a laugh over here like I'm doing, but liking and/or commenting on their misery in their forum will always incite further hostility.

As said above, we'd be furious if they did the same to us. And rightfully so.

yeah - I'm sure it is hard to hold back, but... It's not a good look.

That PGT is 350+ posts of gold though. I hadn't really been paying attention and hadn't noticed the losses to San Jose, Anaheim, Columbus, etc. Good stuff.

Edit: how far has Jack Campbell fallen? He gave up like 5 goals on 18 shots. They called two back - one for offsides and the other for goaltender interference.

Fans of the NJD are in no position to laugh at the Rags. They were a conference finalist last year while we sat home for the 10th time in 12 years.

They still have Shesty, as well as a very sturdy and reliable backup in Halak who always plays the Devils hard. One of the absolute best coaches in the league, who Harris was too cheap to have here. Thanks again Harris/Fitz.

They have lots of tremendous depth up and down the lineup.

They'll be in the playoffs come April, BOOK IT.

Buckle up because it will be another rough ride of a Spring. Bookmark this post and @ me in April.
