Like, seriously. I’ve been watching Hurricanes/Panthers and I got on Canucks/Canadiens right now during the intermission of the other game.

I don’t wanna catch a second of the battle between two has-been teams of yesteryear.

TNT had on the stupid Predators (another has-been of yesteryear) on against Seattle last night.

The windows of all of those teams have been shut for quite some time, but they’ve just been living off their final years of playoff making, due to those contending teams being on the tail end of still being competitive.

It was a natural soft goal hat trick for Kuemper tonight. First two were bad tricklers and the third was a bad blue line shot that he shouldn’t have even been screened on.

Ruuta and Joseph both left injured during the 2nd, Petry got hurt early in the 3rd but I think he’s back in there now

The Metro looks really winnable this year. Canes don't look the greatest and Andersen just went down for them, Isles are legit the scariest team so far besides us, Flyers don't score enough to keep up with the other teams but Hart looks amazing in the Torts defensive shell, Rangers look iffy right now, Pens and Caps are dealing with their own issues whether or it's injuries or just being bad.

I hard a hard time seeing Philly keep it up, but I imagine that will get offset by Pitt or Washington finding traction.

Idk what's up with the Isles. They just don't look very good, but they keep finding ways to win.

Isles look good ? I’ve only watched them against us and the first two periods against the flames Amd I didn’t think they were anything special ?
I won’t count the Pens or Caps out until they are mathematically eliminated .
Canes are too deep to fall out of the top 3 in the Metro.
Flyers are shit and will crash back down to earth eventually.
Jackets are no where close to good.
Rags for now look mediocre but if Sheshterkin activates god mode and some of their one-dimensional grease balls get hot , I can see them anywhere from 1st -6th in the metro.

Out of all the Metro teams, Canes and Rags are the only teams that I would say can be argued have a lineup as good or better than us, but mainly their goaltending only is better IMO.
I like our skaters better than any team in the east.

They're actually scoring this year and they'll probably like the Rangers of last year where an elite goalie + being opportunistic catapults them to a playoff spot. And that's even scarier, they're winning games without their A game just like we did versus Calgary at home. Good teams do that, bad teams do what the Rangers did in that game.
