They were us in the West last year, they had some pretty good metrics but got sunk by the worst starting goalie last year in Grubauer. Martin Jones has given them some pretty good goaltending and this is the result.

When I was writing satirical bits I did one for thr Rangers when Laf first walks into the Rangers fessing room. Basically it’s a room full of guys who have a bunch of different things going on none of which are about committing fully to a hockey team. That will hold the Rangers back if they continue to run things based on building a team of name players and guys who want to be in NYC rather than guys who want to play for a good team.

Nashville sucks. Time for Poile to call it a (mediocre) career.

I'm sure he's got the Gaylord Focker wall with all his ''Made the playoffs!'' and ''Finished 6th place!'' trophies and ribbons.

It would be so fitting for all the Nashville, Washington and Pittsburgh to miss the playoffs. Like it would really feel like an end of an era, as those were the class of the league/presidents trophy/cup winners/finalists around 2016-2018.

Throw St. Louis into that bunch too, as they look about ready for a pretty bad year.

Preds look very “Meh”
Are the Kracken going to be decent this year? Burokovsky looks better than I thought he would. He was scratched in the playoffs by Colorado some games , so I assumed he was a floater some times but hes been good in Seattle so far ?

Woah ! I didn’t notice Islanders beat the Rags tonight !
Rags were up by a couple I thought so assumed they would win .
I don’t know how because the Islanders , to me , don’t look that great at all?
I am excited to go to the Ranger forum and read the Rags fans crying about their shitty franchise.

Would love to poach Tarasenko off of them but that has Lou/Isles written all over it.

Some guys are held back by their loser friends on their loser franchise. Like Zacha dumping Bratt and Hischier for the quality franchise in Boston that never makes a bad decisions. I presume the same thing happened for Burakovsky.

Burakovsky was awesome for the Avs. If I knew Gaudreau was gonna string us along like a weirdo he is, I would've went after Burakovsky for the top 6.
