The good news is that Louis Domingue won't be in net for either of these teams in the playoffs this year.

In fact, if Louis Domingue appears in the playoffs this year then it's almost assuredly gonna be with the Rangers lol.

But some of you are WAYYYYY over reactionary.

We knew the Rangers were probably gonna be at worst a decent team this year, if not just for Igor and did you really expect them to lose to the f***ing Anaheim Ducks with their washed up sack of shit 29 year old albatross goalie in their own building? Who's lost to Anaheim so far? One of the only teams in the league that has a worse goalie (Grubauer/Kraken) than they do? I know one other team that they'll likely have the superior goalie to..... And I believe they're playing that team tomorrow night.:help:

I'm actually a huge fan of those drinks, particularly the cherry kind.

But I can't say I drink them much, as they're a waste of calories and I try not to drink my calories. They are a weakness of mine, along with milkshakes, which I do partake in a little often.

I have to say though, I don't find 7-Eleven slurpees to be any better or any different from the ones you get at Racetrac or Wawa or Circle K.

Yeah, so...... If Marek and Friedman are to be believed, Bruce Boudreau might be available as soon as this week.

What a horrid start for the Canucks.

And this is the second straight year that Demko has been really bad for the first few games of the season. He did turn it around last year considerably sooner than when Travis Green got fired, as I remember his save percentage stayed the same post-Green (for a while) as it did under Green, they just started to allow way less shots under Boudreau.

But they brought up that Boudreau might be one of those hot seat coaches along with Ruff.

If they lose tonight this will be third straight loss in which they had a multi-goal lead and lost. And yes..... They've only played 3 games at all.....

But they haven't played a home game yet, so you would figure they'll give them a chance to get it right at home.

Remember, there was a little bit of brief drama with Boudreau when he wasn't yet under contract for this year and there was talk that he might talk to other teams and the Canucks had one offer and one offer only on the table for him and it was for just one year and Rutherford even came out and said he needs to honor the verbal agreement (or whatever he said) that he'll only coach one year before getting re-upped for multiple years, as he hadn't yet coached a full season there.

Maybe the oddsmakers knew something after all with those odds of Keefe being the first to be fired lol

Nothing is off the table with the hideous goalies that Dubas acquired in the offseason.

And then Keefe goes and starts KALLGREN tonight after Samsonov hasn't been completely terrible.

John Winger was f***ing RANCID on opening against Montreal though. I can only imagine how much his bones must creak when he tries to do a push up. That might be how he got himself on the IR 1 game in.

The funny thing about opening night is I saw a roster of Montreal's defensemen and literally the only guy I recognized was freaking David Savard.

Dubas isn’t firing Keefe. If Keefe goes so does Dubas.
Don't get me wrong I think it'd be pretty unlikely...I said in another thread that they'd probably have to get off to a 2-7-1 start or something like that for it to even be on the table by November. It's just hilarious that after I posted that, hours later they go and lose to Arizona like a week after they already lost to Montreal.

I’m not saying it isn’t a possibility if things go really south with their goaltending. I’m saying if a change is made both are going.

The Canucks now become the first ever team in the history of the NHL to lose their first 3 games of the season after leading by multiple goals in all 3 games.

If you bet Boudreau being the first head coach to be fired and it actually happens? You might become a rich person.

I would have never have thought he was on the hot seat at 0-2 with both games on the road and a long-ish road trip out East to start the season, but Friedge specifically brought his name up on the podcast today, including Lindy Ruff, who he talked about extensively.

And now they just lost again after being up multiple goals. They also have given up quite a few goals in the opening minutes of a period. They're really helping our division rivals on this road trip too. Lost to Philly after Philly beat us, lost to the Capitals to get them to NHL.500 after they started out 0-2-0.

I'm sure they'll be the 0-3-0 Blue Jackets first win tomorrow night.

Dubas might be allowed to pull the trigger on a Keefe firing and make it to the end of the season, but they probably won't let him hire a guy that's gonna get signed for 3-4 years. I doubt they'll let him hire somebody that they have to give term to, unless Shanny really likes that person too.

So it would probably be one of the assistants coming in as the interim head coach for the rest of the season or whoever their AHL head coach is.

Wow, I'm so shocked the Rangers beat the Sucks I mean the Ducks.

Hand them the cup, plan the parade.

I heard if we beat them tomorrow we do get a playoff berth.

Call me crazy, but I still think they can be a playoff team in that division.

Edmonton and Calgary are definitely playoff teams and early returns on Vegas are looking good. Maybe those are the only 3 and 5 come out of the central?

Then again, maybe I am crazy thinking Jim Benning's damage can be undone that quickly.
