That was one of the lousiest goals that Ovechkin has even scored (lousiest on the goalie) this year.

I’m almost convinced Raanta would be one of the greatest goalies of all time if he didn’t give up all these lousy shitty suck goals. Enough pucks hit him to still be good enough. Imagine if he stopped all these bad ones.

I think Ovechkin will take them however he can get them as he chases the goals record. Truly incredible that he's almost to 40 goals at his age.

Buffalo over Calgary out west one zip in overtime - considering how tough Calgary has been on us, that’s a good win. I’m impressed that Buffalo keeps competing and playing a respectable looking game as this spring rolls around. Despite the record (they are tied with us in points right?) they are at least competing most nights these days instead of flat out tanking as they have at this point recent seasons.

I hope next year our Thompson brother shows some of what Tage Thompson is doing for them now. Pity that Tice got hurt early this year, as he had grown a lot and looked good and aggressive in the few games he played for us early in the season.

Ekblad got hurt tonight. Not sure how bad it is or,if he will miss time .
maybe if they get desperate enough and he is out for an extended period of time, would they consider moving Knight if we traded them Severson at 50% ? Win win for both parties. Lol.

Or maybe go big and try for Tippet and Knight . I think Tippet is in the Giroux deal though.
Would you guys think about a Severson for Knight deal? If Ekblad is hurt long term (playoffs) I can see them doig whatever it takes to replace him as best as they can. They won’t find an Ekblad but Severson is noting to sneeze at. I wonder if the Panthers no longer trade for Giroux now and go hard after Lindholm or Giordano or ?
Youd think they would be after a more offensive D to replace Ekblad? Maybe we can take advantage and get a haul for Severson?
Severson at 50% and Blackwood plus pick for Knight and Denisenko .
Debrincat might move if Hawks doing scorched earth rebuild, Holtz plus ? for him. Ya or no thanks ?

I don’t think they will trade Knight, he’s too valuable as future back-up, unless it’s for something like Chychrun.

They rushed him out of desperation and started burning years off his ELC too quickly but he’s still a uniquely valuable asset for them.

I believe the Panthers left side is weak after Weeger, which is why Chychrun (plus his affordable contract) is attactive to them.

The tweet mentioned Subban because they might suddenly be in the market for a RHD rental.

Gillies has brought back the wraparound I guess.

Ehlers scored one on Fleury a little bit ago.

That's the third wraparound goal in the last two days worth of games.

At least Ehlers came around the back of the net pretty quick on his.

I would say Kane on Gillies was worse than the ones on Cal Petersen and Fleury.

All three of them were clean traditional wraparound goals too.

I guess when two of them came against Gillies and Vejmelka (two SHIT goaltenders, with one still being a f*** of a lot shittier than the other, but still a worthless shitbag goalie) that's to be expected?

That's literally the difference between Georgiev and Gillies and Gillies and other BAD goalies.

Bad goalies have good games and good stretches sometimes. Georgiev has 7 career shutouts with tonight's.

Gillies hardly ever even has a good game. His best game this season was against Montreal, the worst team in the league this year and it got their head coach fired the next day.

That's the only start he's allowed less than 2 goals this year. And he's only even had ONE other start where he allowed fewer than THREE goals! Out of 13 starts! And he's allowed 4 or more in 6 of his 13 starts. Truly unbelievable.
