Children safety.

it’s not at 820 but still 7 pm which means tailgaters interfering school bus routes.
Yep, it's all about the timing of the game and traffic. Nothing to do with the team itself. This is one of those cases where the media headlines imply one thing but the actual story gives the real information. Won't stop the facebook comment heroes from saying their well-anticipated piece.

Oliver is our best interior lineman, full stop. He can bring absolute havoc on the line and in the backfield in the run game or pass game.

We're in a much better place to miss him this year........but it's still a rather large loss if he can't go.
I mean they just played their best defensive line game in a game he missed most of.

Yes hes their best player at DT.

No they won’t miss him against Tennessee.

(2) What about Oliver makes you think he won't be missed at all because of the matchup against the Titans?

Edit: Reading the thread back, it seems your position is that Oliver isn't good against the run? If so, that's just a wild take to me. Other than Shaq who is just a run game specialist at this point in his career, I'd say Oliver is easily our strongest run defender on the entire team.

Back on topic, of course they will miss Oliver. Whether it actually impacts the results? I don’t think so…mainly because I think a rout is incoming

This is the good stuff. If you've watched Von mic'd up- you probably saw the way he interacts with Rousseau. We couldn't have signed a better mentor:

I do not like seeing this on Thursday. Glad we have an extra day to heal up:

Henry has faced the Bills each of the past 4 years, and BUF has done well against him. He had the big gainer last year for a TD, but other than that was held in check similar to the preceding 3 years.

That said, he's the single Titan I fear, and the single non-QB I fear in matchups against the Bills.

If they won't miss him then why is he on the team? Of course they will miss him. He's one of their [edit: best] players on defense.

The Titans' guy's depression about their offense has me feeling pretty good about the game.

Missing Oliver against the Titans is rough because their OLine and Henry is what their offense is based on. This OL is going to be way better than the Rams OL last week.

Now I want some chips...

It’s just cool seeing a bills player getting national commercials.

It’s been a while since the bills had such a marquee player and we’re such a popular team nationally.

Oliver AND Settle potentially missing the game is less than ideal.

Dane Jackson too. What’s up with him? Is he in danger of missing the game? That would put both rookies into full time starting roles. 😬

Not for nothing, they lost 2/5 of their starting oline from last year (both to Buffalo), and definitely didn't look the same last week. Hopefully they don't have it this week either.

I watched some of the Titans/Giants game today. Admittedly I starting intermittently dozing at some point but overall they didn't seem to throw the ball down the field often. Tannehill's long completion of the day was 31 yards which may back up that observation to some degree. I won't say if that's the Titans offence or was simply their game plan for the Giants. Short passes quickly leaving Tannehill's hand is one way to subdue a potent pass rush. Maybe the defenders will start putting their arms up and deflecting balls. The corners should press if the Titans use a similar offence. Maybe their talent is better than their name recognition however at first glance their WR group is weak. Woods played 68% of the snaps but only had two targets and one reception for 13 yards. If they were easing him in after the ACL injury you would think he would play less snaps. There is always the use him as a decoy theory but I don't think week one of the season and first game since an ACL injury is the time for him to be a decoy but what do I know.

That popularity will soon disappear if there is any real success. Believe me - I've seen this situation a thousand times before.

Punting on 4th and 2 from around midfield is how you lose to the Chiefs. Mahomes is a ticking time bomb

Why are you ever handing the ball off on 3rd and 1 if you’re Andy Reid lol

Not sure if it is just my connection (though it is fine for everything else) but the video quality for the game on Prime is garbage.
Try closing the game and reopening it again, or if that doesn’t work try restarting your streaming device.

My picture looked terrible at first. I just closed the game and reopened it and it’s looked great since then.

Thanks. Yeah I did that a little while ago and it made a world of difference. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it earlier. Cause it was ok at times but a lot of times it looked like 2006 cell phone video.

Can't say I've been overly impressed by either offense. Or coaching. LA punts twice on 4th and short from KC's side of the field, and KC kicks on 4th and goal from the 1 with plenty of time left. Mahomes has also been bailed out of 3 interceptions by the officiating. I swear no one is luckier then him when it comes to dropped and overturned by penalty (often having nothing to do with the play) INT's.

Aaand right on cue Herbert gets 99 yard pick 6'd.

The chargers have a lot of talent, but they just don’t seem to be able to put together anything interesting on the football field consistently

Horrendous decision to force that pass.

Really hope the Chargers come back to win this. Beyond the fact that I'm sick of the Chiefs in general, it's disgusting that Mahomes has yet to play a road playoff game in his career

The 10 point swing of Samuel dropping the INT in the end zone on the last drive is gonna haunt LAC.

Oh my god, why are you running into the teeth of their defense on 3rd and 2?

It's like they replaced Staley with Marrone
