Serious question. When was the last time a buffalo athlete was loved as much as Josh Allen? I think he's got to be the most popular of all time.

Brian Morman, Jim Kelly, Hasek, Rob Ray, Fred Jackson, Ryan Miller, Doug Flutie….only ones I can think of close to Allen.

Nationally, I buy it. Inside Buffalo it's tighter but damn close and night not even be a convo in 2 years

One underrated Beane move was taking Bass over Blankenship when the consensus had Blankenship #1. Colts just cut Blankenship.
Blankenship is a good kicker, hell get scooped up quick. Actually wouldn't mind a PS kicker..I like Bass much more but he has like a game or two a year where he.gets the shanks and I am always nervous

I don't think Kelly was as beloved back then as Allen is now. Remember, Kelly was a noted douchenozzle to people during his playing days. If social media had existed back then, I don't think Kelly survives as a member of the Bills (or really as an NFL player).

Hasek came across as an aloof dickhead during a lot of media interviews.

LaFontaine was beloved. Freddie, Moorman, Miller I'd all agree with. Up until the whole murder thing, OJ was easily the most beloved Buffalo sports figure of all time. Jack Kemp wasn't far behind, given his political career.

But as of right now, I think Allen is tracking towards being the most beloved Buffalo sports figure of all time as long as he doesn't do something stupid.

For sure, but Oliver is our best interior lineman. Really hoping he suits up.
Not at stopping the run. Which I assume is what people are worried about with Tennessee. Though Henry didn’t exactly look like Henry week 1.

Oliver is our best interior lineman, full stop. He can bring absolute havoc on the line and in the backfield in the run game or pass game.

We're in a much better place to miss him this year........but it's still a rather large loss if he can't go.
