Only to say that whatever people might think is the "best" spot for any particular player to be playing for their "development" or even for their on ice impact when it comes to fringe forwards at the 4th line level...
There are always player and roster evaluations happening more complicated than just "Player X is better than Player Y" and any sports fan that has any kind of experience watching professional or amateur sports knows that and doesn't need other sports fans to point out the century of examples of why it's over simplistic to reduce arguments about who should or shouldn't be in which lineups to a simple equation of "Joe > Dave".
